The 66 Barracudas have a Alum. trim/cover on the Rocker Panels that go from wheel well to wheel well. Mine are badly pitted from gravel and rocks. Any ideas how to clean them up a little. Need not be perfect. Budget is tight, a lot of hobby money now goes to transplants drugs. Thanks, Mike

I have been toying with the idea of painting the hood of my 66 Barracuda flat black. Does Krylon still make a spay paint that can be washed or peeled off? Has anyone ever used it? Any help would be great! Thanks, Mike

On 66 Barracudas the trim between the back window and the trunk has a circle with the barracuda in it. This whole area is now just chrome. It seems like the circle was painted. Is this correct? If so, what color was it? Thanks, Mike

I've got a 66 Barracuda. The Alum. Rocker Panel covers look just they came off a 49 year old car. They are pitted and scratched. No way sanding will ever take them out. Would like ideas on how to redo them. Only looking to get decent driver quality when done. Thanks, Mike

I also used pin stripe tape when I reworked the dash and console for my 66 Barracuda. Worked great. After I put the tape down, I gave it a couple of coats of clear. Mike

The headlight bezels on my 66 Barracuda are sort of a dull alum. color/finish.(OE) I want to polish them to match the grille. What is the finish on them? Is it a clear of some kind or are they anodized. How can I remove it sort of sanding? Thanks, Mike

It's no big deal. Paint the hood flat, then have it cleared with flat clear. No worry about wax or dirt getting "into" the flat paint. Good luck. Be sure to post pics when done. You might feel old when you go to McDonalds and they ask you if you need help with your tray.
