I did mine in 2010, if I remember right there's some cutting to be done of the new bushings for proper fit.....i'll try to dig up the article when I get home tonite.

Basically, the one threaded hole in the spindle goes to the rear of the car. Pretty easy to see once you start assembling stuff. I love it when people think they know everything.....and don't. Hehehe They ARE specific, Mr fish. By the way, thanks for the shot. I will return the favor someday...

71 Demon.....10" drums. The spindles definitely have a "cant" . I just don't remember if they install canted rearward or forward. I gotta invest in a chassis manual one of these days.

Just blew on the second coat of chassis black and realized my punch mark had disappeared. Can anyone tell me how to tell which spindle is driver and which is passenger, on a 71 Demon? My guess is the spindle angles back, to the rear of the car. Odds are...I'm guessin' wrong.

Forgot to tell 'ya, it looks like you have 2 different struts there. One of them had to be side loading the lower control arm bushing.

My 71 Demon has power steering and didn't come that way. That and header clearance has made me decide to convert to manual. I'm having an issue with the price of re-man'd manual steering boxes. HOLY CRAP! Hate to buy used, so who sells remanufactured boxes that ain't out to rape a guy?

Nope. Didn't loosen anything but the 3 bolts on the inside firewall. Maybe I oughtta loosen everything a bit and see what happens. I'm wondering if I can loosen the box itself and angle it up just a tad......
