I have a guy that is trying to sell me a 69 Slant that came out of a Dart and I need one for my 74 Dart Sport. Will it bolt right in without any problems?

I have come across some slants and want to determine if they even turn over or are locked up. V8s have the large nut on the front of the crank that you just put a socket on and turn, what about a slant???

Lots of slants still in the cars. They quoted me $250 for a slant, that sound skyhigh, but I don't know if that is scrap price or the going rate these days. I came across a 70 Sport Fury too, a rare find. Sorry about the pics, I couldn't get them to load...

Many people aren't aware that inline engines and especially the slant 6 look great dressed up with chrome, multiple carbs and paint... The slant is simple and different... Don't most of us want something simple these days... Easy to work on and cheap... It is a no-brainer...

You can get very good gas milage with a 4bbl if you keep your foot out of it.

These are very rare and cool. 76 in any A body is rare because they switched to the Volare and Aspen that year. Those things I read got close to 38 mpg on the highway! You could get it up and running and do a test and post it. Great find, I would love to get one myself.

Didn't the Feather Dusters and Dart Lite's of 1976 get around 34 mpg?
