    Rear Drums: hot & smelly!

I like to put the drum and wheel on and pop the plug to the adjuster off the backing plate and spin the adjuster wheel until there is just a little bit of scrubbing while turning free....both sides equally. I'm thinking maybe you have them adjusted too tight, the parking brake is hung up or...

Anyone ever eliminate the prop valve?

That's exactly what I am running on my manual 4 wheel disk brake car. It's what the tech guy recommended from master power brakes.

    Your method for bleeding brakes....

X-2 Pressure bleeders play no games and force everything out, fluid, air, dirt, ex girlfriends....you name it and it keeps the fluid constantly replenished in the reservoir. I usually don't pressurize it over 15 psi, sometimes 20 if I'm in a hurry. Instead of the paint destroying chain...

do i need a special bolt that connects by brake pedal to master

Special one, but you can rig up one as long it it won't bind and can have a bit of play and still stay tight. I may have one.

EBC Brakes, Anybody use them before?

My mopar buddy recently told me he used the yellow stuff ones on his dodge turbo diesel pick up and the braking is substantially better. The fact that he called me just to rave about it says a lot and he just don't make stuff up to brag about it.

    What a bust...

Dang,..... good Mopar parts are like cheap real estate, you snooze for a minute and someone will snatch it up as soon as you make the decision to buy it.

    Line loc install complete.

I don't have a prop valve, it goes straight to a T for the fronts. I don't have any problems either with side to side or rear to front bias, but I do have an adjustable prop valve for the rears.

Thanks, yeah I'm all about doing a clean install. I want to put the wires closer to the firewall side of the line loc in a large loom to clean it up a bit. I love those brackets I get from radar/laser diffuser installs cause you can use them for alot of different stuff. I'm gonna try to...

    Hydroboost braking systems

Can they make a specific pump and brackets for cars that don't have power steering? This would make sense and brackets are not hard to fabricate as long as you could find some kind of hydraulic pump that would work. This sounds like a fun project.

    Brake pedal has no pressure

Is the rubber hose to booster collapsing under pressure? I had this happen when I hit the brakes, the hose collapsed on itself. Replaced the hose and all was fine.

Front to rear brake line..how hard is it?

I third the right stuff lines. You can order the prebent factory front to rear line and the 8-3/4 rear hard line and even spice things up with a braided steel flex hose at the diff where the two meet. The long front to rear line will come folded in half for shipping ease but will stretch...

    Master Power Brakes Combination Valve

That's exactly what I did, but you may not get complete blessings from everyone on this as different master cyllinders vary in hydraulic pressures which could result in problems for you. I just put a T-in line from the front portion of the master port for the front brakes, and of course the...

    Master Power Brakes Combination Valve

I threw out the GM master cyllinder and prop valve I got with my manual disk brake system from Master power and got a C-body manual disk master cyllinder from Advance auto for $15.oo and I'm using that and an adjustable rear porportioning valve and the brakes feel really great. I did not have...

Has anyone used "the right stuff" parts?

I've used some braided steel flex hoses from them. Nice quality. They also have inexpensive fuel level sending units for Mopars at $45.oo a piece!! I also have a set of SSBC rear disk brakes and Master Power front manual disk conversion all tied together. They work nice, but I did...

Anyone have master power brakes (manual) ft disk kit?

Well, here's what I got. As you can see I have a GM master cyllinder with a chrysler valve block, firewall adapter plate for that master cyllinder. For the money, they should have supplied the custom brake lines from the valve block to the front brake lines at least since it does not look...

Anyone have master power brakes (manual) ft disk kit?

I finally got around to digging into my master power brake manual front disk kit, and noticed from the literature pics that I have the chrysler porportioning valve, but also a GM type master cyllinder. This is their A-body maual disk conversion kit. They gave me an adapter plate from this...
