Did you bleed the new master cylinder before install?

Had this problem once and it was a cloged flex line. But if they are new maybe you have some crud somewhere between the MC and the flex line.

Are all four locking up or just the rear? Does it pull to the side? Was the proportioning valve/block changed as well?

Good job hamsterhats, I feel's good when you do something yourself especially in today's lack of economy. There is no substitute for good brakes, you can have all the HP possible but if you cant stop your an accident waiting to happen.

Yeah player1up the easiest method by yourself is the jar with some fluid in it.

Yeah that's crap for what they charge. NAPA is also a lot more expensive. I use CarQuest in my area.
