    Crate 360 vs DIY Built

I can attest that good mileage and mopar crate motors are nonexistant. Having said that, the early 360/380 crate that I bought as a quick replacement for my aerated 340 has been overall an excellent little motor. Out here 340s can be hard to come by and I wasn't interested in a 360. I have since...

    Which aftermarket radiator for Valiant?

67 Valiants came with a 22" rad, or at least mine did. Not sure why your inlet/outlet is different, but here's my `67 with a 360 Magnum and a 22" three row champion. -pauly

    416 issues - losing patience

I'm using a Spal #2052 and I'm pretty happy with it. It pulls 2780 cfm at 25 amps and fits really nice on the 22" champion with minor mods.. The water pump snout fits between the two fans with room to spare and there's light rubber flaps on the shroud that open up at anything over about 25 mph...

    external oil filter options

Mine's mounted where the heater usually goes, I can't remember the brand -maybe Mr. Gasket-. The Moroso accumulator blew the end cap off, making a huge mess. It was replaced by a Canton unit.

    Alternator installation...

metal tubing, cut it to fit so everything lines up and you're done. its hard to see but I've even got a little shorty spacer between the front mounting lug on the alt. and the bracket so that it was aligned just right.

Anyone have any experience with changing cams in crate?

I run a 360/380 using a holley 750 with proform main body, MSD everything, TTi exhaust and the same gear ratio as you. It makes my 3000# Valiant run like a scalded cat. Give it a good tune and go have fun!

    stock 67 dodge dart post

Not sure which motorhome it came from but most large rigs used the 318-3 which is essentially a 318 with a water pump that has a higher snout to center the fan in the middle of a large truck radiator. I had that motor in my old D400 and pretty much everything is interchangable with all other LA...
