On the Early-A Driver Side exhaust manifold, 273 V8 models, and maybe later models, there was a bracket that attached from the manifold collector to the bellhousing I believe. Anyone have a picture of what it looks like? Thanks

Anyone run the early a-body poly trans mount? If yes, how is the NVH compared to stock rubber?

Anyone tried using a front cowl cover? They make them for 65 mustangs and I saw one in person. Did not get a chance to measure if it would fit my early-a, yet seems to be the best bet to keep leaves out of the cowl. No fresh air coming in though...might order one and find out how it works out.

For a 64/65 Barracuda/Valiant, how is the rocker panel below the door held in place? I am guessing multiple clips? If so, how many clips and do I have to drill holes if the car didnt originally come with the rocker panel trim? thanks!

Do they still sell early a trans mounts in rubber? I cannot seem to find them (looking for the style with 2 bolts) If I have a late seventies 904 in my 65, would this use the 2 bolt or 1 bolt trans mount? Havent taken it out or I would know the answer to the second question thanks all!

Actually, what is the little mechanism attached to the hood that looks like a hook? Reason I ask, is that my valiant never came with a hood hook mechanism and recently acquired one does it keep the hood closed in case the hood latch fails?

Do all early a bodies spill gas when you fill them up? Im guessing this is from the new style gas nozzles they use at gas stations?? I have to hold the filler upside down and it still leaks a little!
