Crazy ***** neighbour

So I have a little tale to share.

4 evenings ago my wife and I are tucking our 4 year old son into bed. Someone starts banging on the basement door,so my wife go's to answere it. While I am still talking to my bouncing son,I can here voices yelling and then the basement door slams. So I head down and my wife is in tears.

This crazy ******* ***** that lives next door came over at 9:30 ,doesnt even introduec herself and starts verbally abusing my wife. Apparently I weedwhacked her flowers the week before. The area in question is at the end of my driveway and right adjacent to it It's been full of weeds and long grass for the 6 years we have lived here. I finally got sick of looking at it and cut it down. I had also placed some junk for hauling off on the blacktop beside the area. Was gonna throw it in my truck but got tired and didnt do it. It was sitting there for maybe 4 hours. So this ***** has my wife come to the area in question and shos here the pile of weeds i raked up,calls it flowers,threatens to key up my truck. Wife tells her"get the **** out of my yard you crazy *****". The nutcase picks up one of the boards I was throwing out,has nails and a gutter and chucks it on the hood of my truck.

I phoned the cops,didnt bother talking to her. My wife is just in tears and the whole evening is shot.

Cops came,talked to her. She admits to the whole thing,says she'll stay away keep to herself etc...

Im like fine,it's done myabe shell go away now.

Nope.

Tonight Im barbecueing some burgers for the family at the side of the house. Out comes crazy ***,starts watering her garden patch 5 ft away. She say please dont cut down my flowers anymore. I say, well thats a damn sight more polite than the last time. She tells me to **** off. Whatever,I apologize about cutting down any flowers but also say I never saw any and the area has been overgrown for years.She goes crazy again and tells me she has witnesses,gonna sue my *** for the flowers blah ,blah. I say "your fuckin crazy ". Next thing I know Im being sprayed with icy cold water.

She keeps spraying and my arms are tryin to block it,the barby spatula goes flying and hits her (oops). Now shes just pissed and is hosing me down. Im soakin wet. The kids are watchin the whole thing from the basement door. The wife comes out and sees the whole thing. I say some really nasty **** to crazy *****,rescue my burgers and shut the barbie down. Being hosed the whole time.

Go in,dry off and phone the cops again. Get a decent cop this time,one I've met a few times (on good terms). I and the wife tell him the story. He goes and talks to her,comes back and says,"it's confirmed,shes crazy". I just start laughing..

He yelled at her a bit,told her to grow up and get over it,iit's only flowers if there even was any.

Says Im really sorry for you pal..real sorry you gotta deal with that nut. But if she does anything else call me again.Said he was surprised I hadnt punched her,because he would have!

But he also said "let me deal with her because if you dont call me,you'll end up punching her for sure".

This is a good cop...

Sad thing is,the old fella that lives there has been golden for 5 of the 6 years we hace been here. Then last year he had a heart attack, and now she is his livin caregiver.

The kids are scared of her,think she's gonna get em. Wife wants to burn her alive.

Im considering a lawyer,and a restraining order.The free shower was under Canadian law,technically assault.

Due to the M.S,I cant take stress well at all!
After the incident my legs started shutting down again. After all the progress I've made in recent weeks feeling better and finally moving about again.

Fuckin *****.

The really stupid part is,the area where I weedwacked probably isnt even hers,as the city has several feet of easment.

I think I'll salt the ground in that spot ;).

A: Your wife is a Queen among women and I salute her.

B: Your neigbor's ***** may have no ground (not like she does anyway) as she is not even a property owner/renter.

C: I hope she fks up bad enough where you can get on tape. Document dates and times in a DayTimer of some sort. In the States, it's legal documentation.

man, if you are going through that imagine what the old guy who live there has to go through every day. file every report you can and call the police every time she pulls some b.s. you are a better man than I am, I would have called up one of my girl friends to beat the ever living crap out of her. of course sometimes even that doesn't work with crazy people.

You know funny thing is my neighbor to the left of me and my neighbor to the right get along great! Oh did I mention they live 10 acres away from me? Like I allways say, when you get to many people living too close together this crap happens. I know not every one has the ability to do this, but my way is a planned thing, I've worked on for years. I feel sorry for you, but these kind of things usually don't get solved till someone moves!

I used to live in a situation like that. We moved. I new I was gonna flip. Also did not want to start a family there. I bet she is abusing the old dude. If you could prove that you could barbeque her ***. Good luck. Hate that you have to deal with watching over your shoulder in your own yard.

Unfortunate situation. perhaps becoming a care-giver in her golden years wasn't what she wanted to do and it is getting her down. does she have any help, I know you don't feel where i'm coming from right now, but maybe try becoming a good neighbor, replant some real flowers in the spot and invite her over for dinner once in a while.

I feel for ya bro, my ex wife was like her after a few drinks. She was also taking anti depressants as well. This might be the case here too.....Don't be afraid to have her charged next time and they might check her out, find that she is too unstable, and take her away. If she can't control herself, how can she care for your neighbor?
I tried to do the christian thing with my ex and it didn't work, she has a mental illness or to use your terms a "crazy f'd up *****"
That's why she's my ex.

Don't know how you, and your wife managed to keep your cool. I had a psycho ***** that lived next door to me. Had to call the police too. I later found out she was hospitalized for emotional problems. Our only solution was to move.

I hope you can resolve this. I can understand your kids being scared of the whacko. At least you have police reports showing that she is the problem.

When I bought my house it was from a (quiet) little old lady who was the origional owner.

So I went to work for a few days and I leave at like 5:50 a.m., so I fire up my big block chiv 4x4 which had 2 chamber flowbastards and 3in exhaust.Well it runs on propane and for some reason no matter how I started it, it sounded like a shotgun blast:-D

So the neibour comes over in hair curlers,robe and slippers and starts yelling how I made her bolt upright in bed and this has to stop.I say it got full exhaust so whats a guy to do, she tills me she going to call bylaws and complain so I'm like :thebirdm:have a nice day.

Nope,not gonna plant flowers. She's the type who would cut them down because she thinks it's her property.

I think I will be pissing on her veggie patch every chance I get. That should bring me some satisfaction...

A video cam is a good idea. I've got one so I'll use it. So is a motion detector hooked up to a really bright security light.

Adam,Im not gonna bother with the fence. She would just chew on it.

Guys,ya gotta have a sense of humour. Me and the cop were having a good chuckle.it really helped, and so does posting here.

The spatula release wont happen again,as I'll just ignore her from now on. If Im working outside Ill just set up the cam in an inconspicuous spot and nab her if she starts up. Then I'll file charges.

Man people make me crazy. There is an easment for people to go across my property to get to their homes, (3) neighbours. Two of them are great but the 3rd is a crazy ***** wing nut. The dirt road leads past my house, past my shop to the other homes. It is a private driveway on my property but people insist on flying up and down the road creating clouds of dust. I yell at them to slow down and they look at me like I am the Asshole. I have a speed limit sign and slow signs on the road but they just ignore them. I am at the end of my rope and need to go see the police to see what I can do. I must have some rights to limit access. Can't even have windows open in the evening because of dust. I may hide in the bush with a bat and start knocking off mirrors.

Got a neighbor like that. When it comes to her I am deaf, dumb, and blind. For some reason it unnerves people when you give them the impression they are invisible and can make no sound that you can here. The last "conversation" we had really freaked her out. I was sitting on the porch minding my own business and she came over and started yelling about "that old POS car that is always sitting in front of my house". When I informed her it was my daily driver, licensed, inspected, insured, and the problem was that she wasn't conscious often enough to notice the times it was gone, she really went apeshit. When she wound down and started sputtering, I informed her that little tirade had put her on the list of people I was planning to outlive so I could piss on their grave, and walked back in the house. That was a little over a year ago and her house went up for sale last week. Good riddance. You can't let people like that bother you. Ignore them and they will go away since they are only after attention. :bootysha:
