It would be foolish to say that electric powered vehicles are not part of the future, and it would be foolish to say that internal combustion engines (as well as the fuel it takes to run them) will be 100% replaced in our lifetime by electric.
Sure, the technology is moving forward at a very rapid pace, but in say even 20 years, the total elimination of fossil fuel powered anything in the world is just a fantasy for some people to cling on to.
The Arabs will have something to say about that!
Unless we get ahold of some alien technology to replace gas engines in cars, fly aircraft, and heat homes economically,
it will take many generations to replace what we have now.
The world is a HUGE place, and many countries simply cannot afford the ''new'' technology even if it is perceived as ''better''.
My point is:
It would take a long time to change things globally is all I'm saying, so people don't need to worry about anything for many years about gasoline powered engines going away overnight sometime soon.
Let's be realistic........
