So sad to realize that I won't have anyone to give a dog biscuit to when I leave for work in the morning or have a wagging nub and wrinkled nose waiting to greet me when I come home in the evening. We lost Emma some time this morning. Dorothy went out with her around 2:00 this morning to look for meteor showers and she stayed out, she found her in the driveway around 6:00. Sleep tight sweet girl, we love you! Dorothy took this picture of her yesterday afternoon. I took the other on a cmaping trip we made, you can tell she hated being on a leash.

Sorry to hear your loss of a great friend Xstream_1, Thank you for giving her a good home and love that our four legged friends need :happy10:
RIP Emma.

It's so hard to loose a great friend :pale:

It's never easy to lose a member of the family, however the great memories will always remain with us. We just had to put down one of our cats at 15yrs. It was especially hard on my wife as it was one of the last things she had BG - before Grant.

Take care
Grant

Sorry to hear about Emma.
Dogs give us so much and ask for so little.
Take care.

That sucks man,

Time to get a new pup, always worked for me.

Been through it too many times, never gets any easier.

they truely are mans best friend, because there always there to wag their tail and cheer people up! sorry for your loss

Sleep peacefully sweet canine. Save us a place in the land of slow furry critters. All My Love, Titan

Sorry to hear of your loss. I feel your pain! Pets become members of the family and the pain of losing one is just as great as that of losing any other member of the family. Lost our little dog Sam in March and then my wife at the beginning of June. Its really tough but it does get better slowly, day by day. May not notice the change until you look back at the preceeding months.

Sure wish dogs lived as long as us. Doesnt seem fair to have to say goodbye to so many loyal friends.I feel your loss. Hopefully they will be there waiting for us when we cross to the other side.

Sorry for your loss.I think the movie was "All dogs go to heaven",I'm sure Emma is there running free,no leash.8)

......and an endless supply of puppy treats !!

Hopefully, Emma is napping with Miss Mow, our neighbors 18 year old cat who passed 2 months ago.

Really sorry to hear about your pup :sad10:. I'm sure she's runnin' wild and free now.

Give yourselves some time and find a new bud at a rescue organization. There are soooo many pups that can't find homes in this sorry economy!
