Is it legal to kill your roommate's cat???

"Doggie Stretch Armstrong", now that's funny ramcharger, but not in a cruel way. :toothy10:
Send the cat this way, I have rat issues.

This is cheering me up. :) I'd never kill the little bastard but I've got plenty of ways now. :)

Well sometimes it's more fun to envision the cat's demise....don't get me wrong I AM a cat person ( I love the little legged throw pillows ) but when it comes to animals destroying things...well, cats run away all the time.... wink wink

and if you haven't see it.. get ready for some good ideas/laughs

Sorry to here that Dave. Good luck repairing it. I have found shotguns to work very well on cats.

Hope you get it fixed. I am not much of a cat person, especially since I am pretty allergic to them. I too would have evil thoughts of felinicide, but could truly never go thru with it.
My girl has a cat and I have 2 dogs that don't really like cats.....they get the backyard and the cat gets the front. I would hate to see what happens if the cat gets in the backyard.........

The last time a cat got in their yard wasn't pretty.

People need to control their animals.

Domestic animals should not roam free....I have a cat and it lives inside...NEVER been outside...in fact it hates it when we try to take him into our back porch....freaks out and runs in.

Your room-mate needs to reimburse you for the damage. IMHO

Must have gotten into some antifreeze somewhere. I hear alot of that runs off and pools in parking lots.
My dogs like to use them as chew toys and play tug of war with them! It's really wild looking when they shake the stuffing out of them and throw them up in the air!

Last cat that scratched a Mopar hood at my house got 6 hollow points from a 357 while eating tuna on a paper plate that someone left in my drive way for him.

And what would you do if it was your ROOMMATE that knocked over the hood? :toothy10:

The only difference here is that cats are considered undomestic animals (vs dogs which are considered domestic). In CA, any legal issues that arise from damage created by a dog is the owner's responsibility. Not so with cats.

Different deal here. A person could sue (of course they'd have to prove the damage was from a specific cat) and can trap any cats on their property in Colorado.

lol where im from a unleahed cat is concidered a wild animal and is same as a ground hog SHOOTABLE hehehehehehehe

LOL, sooo, I'm tellin my wife about this thread and the next day, she E-mails me this link; http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news/local&id=6944446

Eyewitness News EAST ISLIP, N.Y. -- Police have arrested a Long Island man on a charge of beating and shooting his neighbor's cat.
Suffolk County police arrested the 41-year-old East Islip man early Sunday on a felony charge of aggravated cruelty to animals.
He's scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip.
Police say the man beat his neighbor's cat with a rake before shooting it with a BB gun on July 18. They say a woman walking by the home witnessed the attack.

Police say the cat was treated for head trauma, broken teeth and bruises.

Beware!

I forgot to mention that that it must be a live trap and taken to the humane society/municipal pound. The owner can then pick it up after paying a $50 fine. Eventually the owner will get the message.

Beating a cat with a rake and shooting it with a BB gun is......a...... not in the local regulations. :)

The lesson here is:read2: Don't let any one see you do it.:toothy10:

Ramcharger, couldn't that critter be mistaken for a 'mountain lion' there in the wilds of Denver?
Now just where did I leave my glasses? Sure looked like a cougar (4-legged kind) to me!

Lol! Mountain lions have been found in the trees in the suburbs and every now and then a jogger will get pounced on. :read2:
