My restoration 73 duster

-
Been subscribed since the start and pop in every once in awhile to see the progress. Looks great!. Nothing like bringing an old mopar back to life!.

One question though. Hard telling if it's just the picture or what.... But is the black more flat like a black primer rather than a matte/satin finish?.

Even so it looks great. Going to look even better when it's sitting on a set of wheels and tires!. Good job!
Yes it is showing more flat in pictures matte mix was 7pt matte to 4 parts clear. for more satin i would have had to use less matte. There is a haze that will wash off and offer more of a satin look when I get to it. Thanks for the comments.

Just got a gallon of por 15 but won't have any time for a while.
waiting for some other little things but for me time is the hardest to come by

added a couple more stripes

Ok so went to check out the line lock and have come to the conclusion
that my cam is to big for the torque converter. Yup stalls quits bogs and
is far from street friendly. Sooo one more time ,the transmission needs to
be pulled apart. I have done some studying here and found dynamic converters spoke with sean and placed my order. I will keep you up to date on the performance change. All for now

Well I was able to take a Saturday off and split the engine, trans.and install the converter purchased from Dynamic . I gave Sean all my information regarding the engine ,transmission, rearend, and usage planned.
It was a simple call to Dynamics anda order-build was put into place. Couple weeks later I have new converter .So with help from Wench and myself we switched converters and took a small test ride . No more stalling ,shifted purfect!!! And when mashed she turns on like she should.
So a Big thank you to Dynamic and Sean. And again a big thank you to this site for the great information.
