Having recently been ousted by the Chrysler community for committing the ultimate sacriledge of stuffing a non-Mopar powerplant in a Dodge, I've been given a chance of redemption. If I screw this one up, I'll be forever banished!

I've been given the priviledge of starting the comeback restoration of a once famous, historical factory lightweight, the the 65 "Goldfinger" Max-Wedge car.

This is and will be one of my most challenging projects to date. Its easy to take a stock car and turn it into a drag racer, but try and undo all that stuff and make it back to factory stock, well, you get the idea. Moshers Musclecars has my back on this one, as I will need some guys with intimate knowledge of these cars, and Bob and his crew are top notch. While this is not a 'Cuda or a Dart, it is an important car in the history of Chryslers movement in the 60's to dominate the drag racing world. I'm honored to be asked to be a part of it with my small shop.

Nice project. It looks like you will have your hands full with that one. Are you doing it for a museum piece or a private collection?

Good luck! My dad actually has a 65 lightweight belvedere too :o, only difference that his is a hemi and he doesn't plan on putting it back to original. Nice looking car though. I love the 65's.
