OH, she'll learn to drive it! Don't you kid yourself. ....
I may be a little prejudice, but I think the 340 is the best motor short of a 426 Hemi. The 340 is fun, my purple car is a 340 and it’s a good motor.
She's pretty! Congrats.Well I’ve had the itch ever since I missed out on the green 4 speed convertible a couple months ago.
Saw this one and have been checking it out for a while. My wife said she really liked it and that she would drive it all the time. (Sounds like she wanted it too!). I preferred a 4 speed but she can’t drive manual. Big shout out to @HemiSSDart for talking about the car to me and vouching for it. Took a day trip out to North/South Carolina 1.5 weeks ago and today this thing showed up.
Super clean car, probably to nice for me, my kids and ice cream… but we will enjoy it. I’ll get more pictures when it’s not raining.
Fun story of today.
Jim put the car in the garage, of course I had a contractor over at the same time to go over a French drain. We chatted for a bit then after he left the wife came out to look at the car. I was telling her how it needed nothing, started up with ease and all the good stuff….
Then I opened the door and turned the key… No Start! Cranking and no start… car flooded, I guess choke on carb (butterfly choke?) stayed open and flooded the carb. Wife said “this isn’t very promising and disappointing… and left.”
Put my foot to the floor, cranked it and got it started but at that point she was already gone.
Kids love it and want to drive it but it’s raining. The trusses in my big shop are about to be redone and then the roof spray foamed so it will stay in the house garage for a little while.

Yeah....and the car ain't bad either!Stunning! If she doesn't drive it, that's ok!
I touched the gas once and it fired right up! Probably should have let it warm up more after I backed it into the garage. Chris never had an issue starting it, but probably didn't fire it up and turn it off in a short period of time like I did.Well I’ve had the itch ever since I missed out on the green 4 speed convertible a couple months ago.

Beautiful...just Beautiful!
I love the 68 grille.
Nice car Justin. Tell the wife congratulations! You and the family should road trip to KC Saturday for the HPAC show?
Thanks! I definitely am glad I finally pulled the trigger on it.
The 2 actual imperfections are in the grill and the tail panel, a little flaking of the paint but not a big deal. Maybe I’ll fix them or maybe I’ll just leave them be, I assume it will be pretty expensive to fix them.

Uh... that`s too easy, can`t afford it.And on buying the car, how could a person not buy it?
I let another one go a couple years ago, it went to Sweden. I have two GTS convertibles and one Formula S convertible, absolute POS projects, I really need to get one already done...LOLHey SS if you got another one like this, PLEASE let me know. I need it.
Doc... you said my teeth would be ready friday!I really have to clean out my shop and also catch up on some work around the office this weekend though. We had family in town last weekend and I didn’t get some work stuff done I needed too.
Battle Scars, makes the car what it is.

ROOSTER?Then me and rooster went the long way home.
Is the purple manual or power brakes.. The only complaint I have is the brakes, they don’t work as well as the 4 wheel disc brakes on the purple car, not saying they are bad but they aren’t as good
