We got a couple bursts of wind and rain. Just the hail ant tornado hits that concern me. A couple not far away yesterday.
News saying combined, over 500 tornadoes in the last month in the US, average is 266

I think these guys are made of Stone! They busted *** all day and barely broke a sweat in 90* heat with high humidity. And they were all wearing long sleeve shirts with a short sleeve shirt over it.
I would have wilted in an hour doing what they were doing.
Burned cardboard,small brush pile cleaned up. Loaded the trash and recyclables,put a 12x24 window in my overhead door,cleaned up a little in shop and had a meeting with a customer about an engine swap. 350 was in a drag car now going into a mid 80’s chevy pickup.
Over lunch.
Met a gentleman that owns a few nice street rods, wants to bring his ‘57 chevy for suspension work.
Not a real money maker today,but got a few things done.

Got to look into 'land line' and internet options. Looks like Verizon was given the freedom in 2015 to do what they want by the PUC since there was "enough competition" and also bundled services weren't covered by regulation (a little fact I missed).
F'n PIA. To get the FiOS I'll have run power and find a spot to put their equipment.

All these new cool pix by Dd made me change my avatar! And perhaps a touch of gin and lemonade. It is spring in Fargo ya know, we just about hit 80 degrees today. It was hot (for here). I will spare y'all the details but note to self, always wear your glasses when drinking and making a snack. I won't elaborate here as the story is to long, details on Stop in for a drink thread, if the curiosity is killing ya! MITP in just a couple of days! Woo Hoo! We will miss those that live to far away to make it.
