Slacking is pop rivetting the new metal to a couple solid locations.
Alegedly.
I have 2 more cars to do this on in the coming days. Plus the entire cowl section on the fastback.
You should see the rust I have to fix on my 66 Satellite convertible....Big time....
And to think, this is the least rusty of my carsI cannot believe the rusty **** we work on!!!!
I only have one rusty car left. And it is a dozy. BUT it will be worth fixing......
Yeah, the Polara really isn’t worth it, but oh well. It’s a conversation piece
IMO ANY B body Convertible is worth the effort....A Body as well....

Looks factory to me. Have seen it in every A body I have looked at.....

Had to lighten them up in one way or another. Think of all the time and money saved by not having to acid dip the A Body to build a race car

My wife almost saw the receipt from Blueprint engines. She would have killed me!!!! Dumbass me left it in my pants, she was doing laundry and fished it out.
I grabbed it before she could really see what it was...
