Stop in for a cup of coffee

5 cups total for the day. Transmission is out of the impala and off to get rebuilt. So hoist is tied up up until its done. Next week’s customers have been warned, so if it takes longer than expected they are first on the catch up list.
Leg is still doing fine, think its time to get mowing!! TTYL!

I don't see gasoline disappearing any time soon, but everyone is going to make electric cars. I don't know if the power grid will ever be able to support everyone driving them. They will become much more common. I think it's great they are focused on making some good ones. Not that I will ever afford one any more than I can go pick up a Demon now.
All I know is about the time I get my dart done, gas is liable to be outlawed and I’ll have to convert it to electric..... barf

Well, 2 hours of mowing took care of the big part i can see from the house. Im happy. Mostly alfalfa thats grown up. Same around back. Will do some more tomorrow then drop mower and put the shop crane on my 3 point and go start picking engines to load into scrap trailer.

if alfalfa grew naturally in my yard I would have more deer than ants in it.

That's haylage.

When Manuel the dairyman up the street from the rock farm was still milking cows, 2 of the properties right next to us he planted in feed corn for silage. When the wind was just right and he dug into that silage pile View attachment 1715762347 from just standin' on the front steps of my asphalt plant
Yep, it does ferment. I like the smell myself. Fresh silage in a upright silo will produce deadly nitrogen dioxide. You don't climb up the enclosed ladder.

Afternoon, got fuel and got the oil changed in the 1500. Said the heck with it, was 99 deg out, just went inside and sat in the cool air.

Not really...
You missed the tremors in Cali though. Quote from a B body guy"

Farmington, Yellington (? never heard of it, close to Nv border)
& one in Stockton
we had a 5.9, 5.3 & a 4.7 directly after it

they said 3 earthquakes in succession, I felt 2/maybe 3

now they say 4 to 6 different quakes,
another one was really close to the Farmington quake,
like 20 miles away from Farmington area too
