Today's Company meeting was about like I expected. The investors canned the entire staff of our sister company that shares the office with us. We now have to do their jobs as well as our own for the foreseeable future.

And since they gave us all a big retention bonus plan in the Spring, they know we will just suck it up to get the rest of the bonus due to be paid this Spring. Sneaky way to get us to do double the work for only 50% more money.

I think i'll quit commenting and responding to threads. I shoot from the hip and am rarely correct any more.
Not expensive at all. Compared to the kits that we looked at. I didn't even have a Mortgage until my ex decided to have an affair and ran off with him so I had to pay over $100.000 to get her to stay away and even that hasn't worked.

Nope on both counts. They just think it makes sense. Like making steel workers do twice the hours each day for 50% more pay.
Reality is that both jobs will now get done at half the progress rate. By the time they figure out that's what's actually going on, we will all have been paid our bonuses and left.
Karma will be satisfied.
