Stop in for a cup of coffee

I think I told you about a new neighbor at the new place. He was on a ladder cutting tree limbs. The tree limb swung back and knocked him off the ladder, falling about four feet.
He broke his left arm in seven places (six hour surgery) and tore his right rotator cuff. The surgery also involved reattaching the arm to the shoulder. The socket was so damaged they weren't able to get it to take, so now he's facing a complete shoulder replacement. Months of rehab. And don't forget he still has to have the rotator cuff repaired within eight months, he has about six months left.
Poor guy he recently retired and had bought a new Goldwing. He's selling it, not sure when or if he will be able to ride again.
So be careful up there. It doesn't take much to F..k us up!!

Heat a wire and stick it to the nozzle, let it cool and remove nozzle.

300 lb gorilla approach, turn machine upside down and shake it until nozzle falls out.

Wow! Some retirement. Sounds like full recovery is non existent.

like my customer that dropped off his fargo for me to work on and wrecked his bike 3 days later. If he can walk again, will be a year. Or more. His family still hasnt been able to talk to him.

That's a tough surgery just the shoulder.
I opted out when I broke mine in 4 places a few years back when I crashed the pink Cutlas. Broke steering wheel and fist thru dash.
Tendons were pulling bone away. Doc insisted it wouldn't go back. I got a second opinion
I did 6 weeks physical therapy.
Doc was pissed everything went back in place.
I wish him luck, thats a long road of rehab.
