Took 6 years, but I'm finally starting my new race car.

It's very possible Roy. We have 4 pieces of floor in the trunk to finish and they should be pretty easy. If I can work both Saturday and Sunday it should work out. If I have to work at the job then maybe not. We'll try though.

OK, I believe we are done Roy. Pics from the last two weekends.

I'm picking the car up from Steve on the 15th then off to Stripmasters in Milton Fl. for media blast and paint and body work.

Well tomorrow morning I'll be picking the car up from Guitar Jones (Steve). Next stop is Stripmasters in Milton Fl. so Ray can work his magic on the body and paint. I'll keep posting pictures as we proceed.

Well I finally made to Orlando today to pick up the race car project. Now in about a week or so I'll be taking it to Stripmasters in Milton Fl. to start the next phase, media blast and paint. Steve and Lyle did a great job on installing the back half, 12 pt, cage, floor pan, etc. If anyone on FABO is looking for someone to do this type of work, I highly recommend (Guitar Jones) Steve and Lyle. Good, honest, reasonable guys to work with.

First picture shows where it is and who is doing the work. Next 2 are at home before i took off to Milton Fl. The rest are me and Moparmarkk taking the car apart and the last one shows the car setting on the Dolley. Mark is going to be sending me pictures as the work proceeds and I'll post then from time to time.

:burnout:Hi Roy it's ben so hot I haven't had time to say hi, I am trying to go racing, but it either rains or is to hot for this old man . I traded my 68 OLDS Cutlass S for a 67 full chassis Nova S/G car. its a alc. injected car. I will test and tune it in the next 2 weeks' I still have the Dart. I'll let you know when I go to Lakeland. Your car looks good !! Be Good Gary

Well progress is slow but I just got the heads back for the 470 build from Jim Laroy. They look great.

Great choice for a race car. I really like the 1969 Darts the most, they are like a mini Roadrunner especially the GTS
