Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, 1 Furys look cool to me!
The smaller (118 inch WB vs. 122) Phoenix was also a very good looking car. Sold very well, too - much better than the big Dodge in 60.
Some cars are ugly no matter how much you dress them up. I.e., Cybertruck, Aztec. Others can be dressed out to look pretty good. 61 Dodges, for example. With that droopy front end and reverse curve rear fins, they are pretty homely as four doors, especially the low line models. But a black Phoenix 2dr hardtop with a red interior - well, I'd be proud to own this one:
Some cars start out good looking, but later re-styles of the same basic car are less so. I.e., restyles aren't always for the better. One example being the second gen Camaro, although I reckon GM had the excuse of the new federally mandated bumper laws. But another example is the 56-62 Corvettes. And its changes were a matter of choice. 56 and 57 are really clean examples of fifties sports car styling. Then GM slapped four headlights on the front, and I still like them, but not so much.

I think the Rodius is hard to top, but the Zil limos from Russia get dishonorable mention for trying to combine Communist austerity with capitalist decadence, and getting both wrong.
Of all cars....the car I used to think was the worst thing I ever saw, was AN A BODY MOPAR
I used to walk to elementary school in the mid-late 70s. There was a little beat up 60-62 Valiant or Lancer along the way. All I remember was thinking how terrible of a design it was every time I saw it lol.
Next was a Matador coupe on the same route, and then a 61 Plymouth that used to park downtown.
I dig all three designs now!

My first car was a 61 Belvedere 2dr hardtop, very similar to that Fury.
Not ugly so much as just bland. Mostly the result of balancing drag coefficients against interior space. Under those constraints, there's only so much styling you can do.

Over the years, I had a few Camaros and Firebirds. The 1970-81 F bodies were all great looking cars in my opinion.

Lots of ugly on this page, especially the Tesla "truck". The first thing that pops in mind is the 70's AMC stuff: Pacer, Matador, Javelin and not as bad AMX.

LOL! I remember 30 years ago thinking the 70 Coronet front end was ugly, now its pretty neat to look at
That 70 Coronet's front end look totally MEAN at night under the lights!!
How many have ever seen one at night !?
I am not a big fan of that year design myself, but do agree it is pretty menacing looking, especially with lights and horn on top.
