What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

If you ever have to replace them again.. try the percys aluminum gaskets.. i'm very happy with them and are reusable.. I still orange rtv them though.. can't stand leaks :) Looks like proform is making a cheaper knockoff of them too
I like copper rtv
Not that it matters but 02 sensor safe

Refreshed E383hp now on the run stand. Just waiting for new aluminum radiator to be delivered so I can start it.

You doing cop clone
440 interceptor

No clone here. This is an original factory police 1977 Fury with "K" in the VIN. The engine is the original 400 high performance engine. The 400 is getting tired with 380000 miles on it, so I am planning a rebuild or maybe swap for a 440 that I have. I've owned it since 1986.

I added the decal to the air cleaner. You can see the factory oil cooler and transmission cooler here. Things are a mess, but it's in progress.

Should be fun to drive when it is finished!!

Yesterday and today (OK, just noticed it's after midnight, so day before yesterday and yesterday), been taking apart the front suspension of my 67 Barracuda. Just about ready to pull my damaged K frame (ADDCO sway bar broke the front lip at one of the mounting points) and replace it with a good one. It's had a factory Cuda 383 front sway bar for some time now, and it's going back on. Also renewing/upgrading the suspension, going from .87 torsion bars to .960, tubular upper control arms, boxed lower CA's with delrin bushings, bigger tie rods, etc. Also am replacing the cam, so the front and top of the motor is apart, too. Also going to Kevco oil pan.

I just finished for the day at 11:45 pm. Probably won't get back to it for a few days, because I have a local club newsletter to write, a bathroom medicine cabinet to install, and my wife and I have a total of three doctor's appointments this week. That's why I worked so late this evening.

Wow!! Mine had the 360 dual point distributor in it and no one could out drive me on gravel, and possibly pavement, Night Watchman Blue, love it.
My vot is keep the block and put a pair of 440 source 400 heads on it and bump compression up to 9 1/2 .. very nice sir.

Took an hour drive and parked her outside because the weather is perfect today, sunny and calm.
Put my Lazer temp gun to work as soon as I made it home, two front wheel bearings 92 degrees, rear axel outer bearing location 85 on the left, 83 on the right , should have hit my u-joints but forgot..

Took the kids to the local cruse yesterday and heard a loud pop. Was able to adjust the clutch and make it home. Evidently I’ve been rocking a lock cylinder clip on the clutch rod…..

This 383 is a numbers match with 70K and going back in my 69 road runner.

She's alive after last being run about 25 years ago. No leaks and only one complaint - replacement Carter fuel pump puts out 10 psi if left unregulated.

Shout out for the Auto City Classic radiator! I thought I'd give them a try on my run stand because the price was too good to pass up. Nice quality and no issues at all.
