What are you running for drivetrain

Street car = Stock drivetrain, Hwy gears
Race car = Strip only. not street legal
Street/Strip = Overdrive tranny drive to the track (wish I had overdrive)
Strip/Street = Steep gears, 1-1 final gear, 3000 rpm is the lowest you see. Tow to the track.

well originally the car was set up basically for the drag strip. but i used it on the street a lot.

spinning a bearing in my 360 was a blessing in disguise.

right now i have a box stock 74 360 in my car. stock converter and a 2.94 gear. oh man i love the car more now then ever before. i'm running RMS front and rear suspension and man the car is a dream to drive. love getting up on the highway and being to cruise at 75 mph and not have th emotor screaming. i would love to stick some kind of OD in it and maybe go 3.55 gear or so to make it a real good all around car.

i still have my 408 rotating assembly laying around and when its time to build that its gonna be a pure street motor. hopefully a TQ motor that has power from idle to maybe 6000 rpm. had too many cars in the past that were geared too much towards the drag strip. its just no fun taking those tyles of cars on a long ride on the highway.

I have two
street car: stock 340 with headers 727 stock converter 3.21 gears. 14.30's at 97mph 18 mph on the freeway

Steet/strip: 340 10.1 .500 lift hyd cam, headers, holley carb, edelbrock intake. 904 with 3000 stall, 8 3/4 with 4.56 gears. 12.00's 112mph 8 mpg

You forgot "Garage Floor Cover" as an option.

I meant to go Strip/Street, but it breaks so often GFC is what I ended up with.

Ooops, made a boo boo.
Strip/Street = Steep gears, 1-1 final gear, 3000 rpm is the lowest you see.
that's me, no tow, I'll drive. That'll be the (73) 4spd 4.10 360 Cuda

My summer daily driver is the Magnum, 400 4bbl. 727 3.55's and near 27 inchs of tire diameter. It still revs a little high, but not to bad. Too bad the motor is a dogged 78 emmisions engine. The big whoppin as delivered 190 HP de-smogged monster. LOL

I went strip/street But I would call it Pro Street, as that is what it will be.

another one in the catagory who voted before reading. mine would be classified as Strip/street, no overdrive, and would get trailered to the track. but fun to play with locally on the street.

I built mine just for the strip although there are plenty of street cars which are built very similar.

512 lowdeck Indymaxx block, Stealth Heads, Roller Cam, CRT 727, 4500 stall, Strange S60 rear, 10.5x28.5 slicks, Cal Trac bars and springs.

Have yet to start this car up.... Getting close though!

I have a 73 Dart Sport 340(372)4 speed with 4.10,s retired from Street/Strip,now just street.Also have a 66 Dart 408/904 for mostly strip,the odd show/cruise.

Hairy for the street, as in.. I can turn the key and it fires right up and will idle on it's own cold no choke, but watch out with the pedal or you'll be sideways and kill yourself.

Street/strip...I can fire it up and drive it every day, and I race it on the weekends at Friday night KOS drags.

Stock stroke 340, runs on 93 octane, 3.91 gears with 28" tall tires, and an efficient PTC 3,500 converter that acts like a stock converter until I stomp on it. 3,500 pounds, all metal body, full interior with car seat in the back. Idles at 190 degrees in Detroit road construction traffic. Runs high 12's on the motor.

My 67 Dart GT convertible is street car. With a late model 5.7 Hemi from a Charger with new FRI cam, rods and springs, tranny is a 518 with Overdrive, Rear is a 8 3/4 large bolt pattern with 3.23 limited slip. Have not decided on tires yet. I did roll the lip on the fenders and mini-tubbed for extra room. Wheels are magnum 500's 15's, 7inch front and 8 inch rear. Sot of decide as I go..

The Dart is pure street, daily driver. /6 (4 bbl coming this summer), PowerPipe SC, 904, 2¼ exhaust, 2.76:1, 7¼ rear. BBP disk conversion, 15x7 chrome road wheels, 205/60-15.

The Demon would be a street/strip except I won't be racing it and definitely no trailer time if it's running. (Currently in body shop). 9.3:1 318, AFB, Performer, 302 heads, Crane Fireball, double roller, Dakota exhaust manifolds, 904 w/TransGo RV shift kit, Currently has 2.76:1, 7¼ rear (3.55:1, 8.75 components on hand), BBP disk brake conversion, 15x7 cop car wheels, 235/60-15.

Street with some mods. 360 ci engine, bored out to put out about 400 hp. 8 3/4 rear end for the old girl. Tranny OK for that.
New interior and modern sound system to be installed. Foose Rims & Dunlop tires for show and some 70's era mags with 50 series tires on the rear for fun and 70's on the front. Watch out rice rockets!!

BTW her unofficial nickname is "ZombieSlayer"

Street car for me

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YilvlLxgv9U"]YouTube- 68 GTX burnout[/ame]

Sry I just woke up and am having my first coffee. I should have said Strip/Street.

New rule for me, do not do polls on FABO until I have had some coffee!

when/if I get to it, fast efi/crossram 572 Hemi, 4l80e trans, 3.90 gears, cage/mintub/relocated springs.

Mine has the look of 100% street but the engine of a strip car.

Now I'm going the other way…. Huge de-tune. I want to be able to reliably drive across country.

When and If I get it finished

Strip/Street #30 over 383, 727 3500 stall, 410 Detroit locked Dana 60, 10 point cage, min tubed, relocated CalTracs Split Mono-Leafs.

i have alitle bit of a hard time putting my car into one of the boxes its more about what i can tolerate on the street mine will be:
stockstroke 340 solid roller camed on E85 with a twinscrew this motor is basicly set on kill have been driving basicly the same motor but without blower pumpgas alot on the street in the last few years.
3.91:1 gears 4000rpm stall will drive to the track even with stupid rpm and 2"primarys and 3½" exhaust
plan on driving this thing alot nomather if it may not be streetable in alot of peoples opinion :)

pure street/daily driver. Stock stroke 360 / 4bbl / cam / intake / headers. Rebuilt A999 trans with shift kit and 2400 converter. 8 3/4" open 2.94 gear. vintage sbp slotted mags 14x6 front 14x8 rear 215/70/14 front, 245/60/14 rear. B&M floor shifter. original upholstery, peeling maaco paint job, rust.
The most fun car I've ever had for sure and gets driven almost daily.
