Anyone have any summit coupons
What do you need? Lots of members here. Somebody might have what you're lookin for cheaper. You can put a ad in the wanted section.
Oh and I have an intake. It's a good one. A 72 340 intake. But two things. To run a Holley or Edelbrock, you'll need an adapter and it's heavy cause it's iron. Not real cheap to ship but they flow real good for a stock intake. You could probably buy an aluminum piece for about what mine would cost shipped....but if you want it, I'll throw it on you. lol
Stroker,let's stick with the plan.....
Sell that 340 to the resto guys.
Aluminum, port matching,Performer is the ticket here.
So...here's the plan ?
Stock 318
Ede performer
Ede 600
Mopar elec ign
Hookers headers
Dual exh
I actually dig these kind of builds.
Reminds me of the old speed shop days, where you would buy some bolt ons for a stock car,and bolt em on. Do some tunning, and then take her to the streets.lol
Good stuff !
what about a 268/485 cam
I agree with ALL that except one thing. The exhaust. It's been my experience that mild 318s respond better to an HP single exhaust. Like say 2.5" off the headers into a good Y like them from Flowmaster and into one 3" pipe......BUT......since he plans to upgrade to a 360 later on, he'd be better ahead to do the duals now I believe. But no doubt dude, you got dirt road experience...and I love it. Them little motors will surprise the hell outta you everytime.
have you guy tryed a wipplash cam from hughs just put one in and works great sound good and good power.
It's not completely smooth in a 318. Just like Comp's description. "Noticable"

sorry about that stroker scamp, but it was a simple question but since none of you have any input on it the whiplash cam. It would be the way to go in a stock motor. It has got great ideal sounds like a big block worked over you dont need a stale pulls great vacuum like 16 inch pounds great cam good choice for a guy that putting carb and intake and a cheap set of headers on i just put one in a 340 and cant say enough good about it . works great. and makes way more power then the old cam did.
No trying to start anything but this cam poped up in a pop up looks good. Not trying to start anything.
