Who says you can get a title through broadway???????????????????????

Illegal, sure, but to let a perfectly good Mopar get thrown to the wayside because of B.S. big-government red tape? Now that's just CRIMINAL.

Who said it should be thrown by the wayside? Not me.
There are simple, legal ways to get paperwork. Jus some folks are too lazy or to A.D.D. to have the patience and want the quick fix, instant gratification.
If your going to swap VINS you better get ALL the hidden partials and swap them too. Oh wait...that takes time...never mind.

Personally I think that there should be a statue of limitations on titles for older/antique vehicles due to the fact that many of the owners of these older vehicles are deceased or the paperwork for the vehicle has long been lost. If there are no records of leins or stolen vehicle problems, I feel that there should be a way to retitle these vehicles instead of having to cut them up for scrap metal. Just my .02

as long as the vehicle isn't stolen there is no good reason for them to make it so hard to legally register it, you try and follow the rules and go by the book and all they want to do is be a big old bureaucratic red tape pain in the ***

im in va. and i'm in the process of getting a title for a 70 duster that someone threw in with another car for a trade. im going threw joe matlock in la. said it would be 2 to 4 weeks. that was a week ago so still waiting , but he said i would get a la title in my name to transfer to va here. i just had to have a local cop do a vin inspection and send him the bill of sale that was notarized. he has a site called www.cartitlesforsale.com

hey guys and gals , just wanted to update my title situation i wrote about. today i got my new title in my name from joe matlock (above) took 4 weeks like he said even including xmas. so now i can take this 70 duster i got in a swap, instead of parting i now can take this original v8 duster and paint it limelight with a 340 727 combo. sweet

Sell it to someone in a state that can get a title and then buy it back from them after they title it. No need to transfer the car and you just pay the title costs. Not sure if this will work. Just an idea.
