    Stalling Smallblock....Edelbrock Woes...

My Eddie 600 is a beautiful fit for my HP Street 318. I learned probably the most common problem with this carb is people run to high a fuel pressure. Should be 5.5, no higher than 6. Peace

    tire size & gear ratio

I'm running 325/50-15 M&H (28x12.3x15) with 323 gears. I will one day go to 3.55 but I love it on the highway. My leaf springs are moved in and the fender in just rolled a little, no tubbing and they fit beatifully. The pics are with M/T's 28x12.5x15's. Peace

    electrical demons

volt meter started to read 10 volts and drop down to 8 w/lights and accesories. stupid me didn't trust my brand new AutoMeter gauge because I had a ground problem earlier. Well woke up with a dead battery. Charged my battery started right up and now volt meter reads 12.x at idle and over 14 at...

    Aftermarket Heater/AC units?

Classic Auto Air has many units that will use the original controls and vents. They have great units, call or email them with your specifics and they will let you know.

disk brake conversions are they worth it.

Wheels are so limited in the 5 x 4 bolt pattern unless you are getting something custom. Just something to think about. Peace

    Aluminum Radiator

As far as I can except not being as pretty the Summit brand alum rads are just as good. The specs are the same for almost 1/2 the price. Remember these are cross flow rads, so the manifolds are on the end, the fins will still fit in the stock hole. Just measure the max space that will fit and...

Legendary Interior and Seat Backs - 69 cuda

I would check into a local ulpholstery shop, the quality of the vinyl of the repros I've seen is disgusting. Year One, the Paddock, Layson's, and Legendary all charge over way too much for the quality of the vinyl they use, I wouldn't put it in my car. Peace

pcv and thermostats for street strip cars ?

I have a built up 318 for the street and I run 2 breathers. My oil pressure get up to 60-70psi and I have no blow back. I run a 180 thermostat, here in Vegas with temps over 110 in the summer my car runs at 190-195. Peace

    front tire size dilemma

Thanks for the input, I went with the 26"; I have 4" Centerline's on the front and the tire sizes are kind of limited. I'm just not ready to invest in a wider rim yet. But I do like the look, I relocated the rear springs; so my backs are tucked beautifully underneath. To each his own, Peace

    front tire size dilemma

It's a street car and I run the drag look. I have 325/50R-15's on the back and am looking at the M/T Sprortman S/R's for the front. The back tire diameter is 28", the fronts I'm looking at come in a 24" and a 26". Any feedback appreciated. Thanks

    Very Hot Radiator

The brackets I made work but I'm not real happy with the set up, maybe someone else can give you some advise on it; maybe someone knows where to buy some brackets that work. Peace

    Very Hot Radiator

I put the Summit radiator in my '68 B'Cuda, I believe it was the one that was 25-26" wide. These are cross flow rads, so the manifolds are on the end; not the top. The fins fill of the hole perfectly, also you can get a petcock set up in the suggested parts section on the radiator item page...

Thanks guys, I figured it out. I have adjustable rockers with hyd lifters. The Crane Cams article explains how to check/adjust for hyd lifters. Peace

    valve adjustment w/no cam specs

I don't know the specs of the cam in my 318 and would like to check/adjust the valves. Is there anything I can do short of pulling the cam out. Is there any symptoms of needing a valve adjustment. I would like to order a valve adjustment wrench but don't want to pull my covers off before I'm...

    Electrical fried for third time

First you want to bypass the amp meter, they are nothing but trouble; go to www.madelectrical.com and you will get great info. I would run my stereo amp thru a relay, if you order a relay kit thru mad it comes with a collection of wiring diagrams. Basically your amp will then be powered directly...
