    18 Inch wheels and backspacing

Looking at upgrading my wheels and tires on my Duster and going with 18" wheels. I'm not too worried about finding some that will work on the back, but not quite sure what will work on the front. Right now I have 205/60-15s on 15x7 wheels with 3.75" backspacing. What kind of backspacing would...

    750 Holley Double pumper

I've got a 750 DP on my 340. Runs great and I don't have any complaints about the fuel economy. Tried a 750 Edelbrock and a 670 Street Avenger and didn't like either of them.

Isn't that what the modified Z-bar is for that they have on the TTI website? I got my headers in today so we'll see how it all fits together.

    TTi Headers and 4 speed

I'm swapping a 4 speed into my Duster and am also looking at changing out my cheap ground scraping headers for a better fitting set. I'll have all the stock 4 speed stuff including the bellhousing and clutch linkage, ect. How do the TTi headers fit with a 4 speed? Anything I'll have to modify...

Pistol Grip shifter handle, what else do I need?

71-74 non console. My main issue is what to do with the shifter mechanism. Do I need to get a correct shifter mechanism that will work with the pistol grip handle? And if I do that will I need shifter rods that are different than the stock rods?

Pistol Grip shifter handle, what else do I need?

I am swapping a 4 speed into my Duster and came accross a B-body pistol grip shifter handle. What else am I going to need to put it in my car? Right now it has the stock shifter, and I need a set of shifter rods too since mine where bent into circles. The stick doesn't fit into the stock...

I have Firehawk tires on my Duster. They are great tires on the street, no complaints at all. But if you go to the track they probably won't hook up.

    70-76 Dart Dash Mods

The tach and speedo are 3 3/8 and the water temp, voltmeter, and oil pressure are 2 1/16. I'm still working on relocating the light and wiper switches since they won't really fit on the flat panel. It's a really easy project and well worth the time and money spent. The hardest part is doing...

    Intake choices

I wouldn't use the Torker 340 intake. Just get a RPM/Air Gap intake. I had the torker 340 on my Duster and switching to the Air Gap made a big difference.

    70-76 Dart Dash Mods

Here is mine. I bought the Redline gauge bezel and cut my own holes for Autometer Phantom gauges. I bought 3 lights from summit racing along with the gauges and the green ones are for the turn signals and the red one is high beam indicator. I spliced them in from the factory wiring.

    What shifter to use?!

I have a Hurst V-Matic II shifter in my Duster. It was easy to install and works great. The ratchet mode works great when you want to shift the gears yourself. You just push the stick forward and it upshifts one gear at a time.

How many CFM for my 340?

I've had an Edelbrock 750, Holley Street Avenger 670, and now have a 750 Holley double pumper on my 340 in my Duster. The 750 DP is by far the best driving and quicker carb out of those 3. I have no trouble driving it on the streets even having an auto trans. I do have 4.10 gears though.

    72 Demon rear tires

I have 295-50s on the rear of my Duster. 8-1/4 rear bbp. Wheels are 15x8 with 3.75 backspace. With Super Stock springs they don't hit or rub the quarter panel, but with the old worn out /6 springs they would rub if I hit a big bump in the road. There is about 1/2- 3/4" clearance from the...
