I think it was after '81 on a 998 with the low gear set, but I'm not 100% certain. Yeah it'd be one of those deals to pull the pump and drums out of it to find out. I have several factory publications/technical service bulletins I can look for more info and maybe come up with something..

A 998 would be behind a 318. Hard to say for certain if it has the low gear set.

Pretty sure Adam started it in the early 2000's and there were several versions of the site. I was one of the original members before 2004.

Personally I'd get the JEGS throttle bracket for your existing mopar cable. Works very slick and is adjustable. Also you can kill two birds with one stone as it includes the return springs on the bracket. I know this wasn't your question, but this is the easiest approach, in my opinion.
