Made mine with $10 Lowes composite board and $12 piece of black vinyl from fabric shop. Had enough material to make a trunk divider also. Much cheaper than reproduction one plus the shipping cost. $$$

Thanks John, That sounds nice and since my car isn't stock or an original 340 car I'd like to do something alittle different too. When I had my SpaceDuster I re-did the trunk dress up package in it so I might do something like it minus the fold down seat of course!:-D Anyone else want...

Just going with some new universal belts for my 70 Duster. Are the backs longer than the fronts? I'm thinking 61" for the front bucket seats and 74" for the back. Is this correct or will 61" work fine for the back also? I know the ones in the car now aren't the factory ones. Thanks guys!

To cover my old ugly old woodgrain. With the black interior the carbon fiber looks blends in well. They had them for $30 on EBay last week. Good for a driver or that different look.

If the handle doesn't stay up when you push it into it's little home it's because the spring inside is broke, worn or missing.

Galen Govier states that all 1973 & up sunroof A-body cars came with white headliners. I believe there was exceptions though as ASC did the sunroof installations so black was probably available if you had the right connections or some white ones were replaced later with black ones.

Wow! I wonder why all the different bow setups. My 70 Duster definitely has spots for 6 bows. The car came with a headliner in a box but it's only a 5 bow with the last/back bow being the real long one. Looks like my Duster should have a short rear 6th bow. Still confused??????:-D Any...

Can anyone confirm that 5 bow headliners are used in 67-72 Darts and 6 bow headliners are used in 70-72 Dusters and Demons? Thanks!

Here's a pic of a 73 Scamp with sunroof option from the 1973 Chrysler-Plymouth sales brochure. Can anyone verify what the inside sliding panel material is made of as I thought it was some sort of cloth? From pics I've seen of torn ones hanging down it looked like a stiff cloth.

Another guy I know that has a sunroof Dart Sport 340 car said his was an original black headliner with his black interior. I really doubt anyone would have removed them from the cars and dyed them as it's not so easy to remove and install one. danmc77, So I guess it's still debateable but...

There was a yellow 72 Demon 340 for sale with the rollback sunroof option in St. Louis around 1999 or 2000. It was a heavily optioned factory car. I've never seen it again though.....

My 73 Duster 340-4spd has the high back split bench seat with center armrest. C4B5 is the code for mine I believe but I changed my interior to a two tone B5/white interior. :)

Dave, Dante's Mopar parts sells the 73-76 style headliners in ABS plastic. He advertises on Moparts and you should email/call him and ask about it. His latest versions are supposed to be pretty good and he now makes them them for sunroof A-bodies also. You won't be able to find anyone...

The cardboard headliner is reproduced in ABS plastic now. Check out Dantes reproduction parts and he advertises on www.moparts.com You could also spray dye it or just glue some foam backed cloth headliner material to it if it's got minor damage. I made a custom headliner for my 73 Duster...
