Weight 3400 WITH Dany, and the jack/spare so I'm gonna go with 3300?
Want to weigh it with the new wheels to see if it changed, if it did I'll correct.

Went 13.86 on my 13.10 dial. Back to the old drawing board.

COOL!! That's good enough to tie ya with Dany (motorpirate) for 5th. I say tune it, your 19 mph pick up the last 1/8 mile is close, but there may be a mph and a couple of tenths there given up! Nice pass, though!

Also, tell us a little about your build.....

2.02/1.60 J heads PRW 1.6 rollers
Comp 280H 230@.050 .480/.480
Torker, 650DP, 1 5/8 into 2.5 ex
A833, Hays S/S clutch, 3.91SG
002/003 S/S springs,
Rancho 9 way shocks
275/60 Nitto drag radials
Leave on the 2-step at 4800
Shift it at 6000.
Have gone best of 13.6.
Needs 4.30 gear and 750 carb to come alive but then it would be less enjoyable on the street. Also, may swap to a little smaller solid lift cam this winter, like the Comp 20-246-4.
I wasn’t sure how much to subtract for my cam because it only has .480 lift but 230@.050”. I went with -.6 because the 1.6 rockers put the lift closer to .500”

You also could advance your current cam a few degrees. I run the xs274s in @ 104 ICL in my 340, very street-able.

Here he is tuning up his sisters dune buggy.
The thought of advancing the cam has crossed my mind. May try it before dropping the coin on a new one. Just put a fresh set of tires on this year so that will have to wait.

Changed jets, metering rods and timing for last nights Test and Tune. Ruby responded well (16.899/80.66). This is her cam. Should there be an index adjustment? If so, please change my index to 16.2.

Yes, that cam is definitely healthier than a stock 318 2bbl cam, I'll change your index and add your new pass. It moved you up to 5th :D

A new best last night. Too bad it was a first round loss.

Ruby did her job. The driver however, went red AND broke out. Other than that I nailed it. :)
 
Good news and bad news:

Ruby ran a new best last night. I did however stop at the scale and she weighed in at a diminutive 3120lbs. You will need to reduce my index another tenth.
