block ID

is it possible to ID the block from the serial #'s??
its a 440 #2536430-9

.....................thats just a casting #......late 68 up have a flat pad on the opposite side above the oil pan rail with the serial# there is a flat pad across from the dist, behind the water pump housing..............there is a # on the bell part by the oil pressure sending unit.......also could b under the starter flange........kim.......oh ya...thats a 440...

That partnumber is 440 block between 1966 and 1972!
