I guess it's settled.
Joey will have to change the name of the site to FDBO.com
For Dork Bodies Only .com
It's the images of years gone by. If they weren't the hi performace versions of the cars, w/ the possible exception of the Barracuda, then think about who mostly drove these cars. Grandma! That's the problem! People still think of them as a practical, low budget car driven mostly by old folks. If you had seen one driven by a young person back in the day you might think "aah they got that car from an old lady." We know the whole light car big engine concept, but the rest of the world still thinks of it as a granny car. That's why we need to build more of them & show them wrong!
Its like women, if we all liked the same one we would have to share. I dont share well and besides i like to be different the last thing i want is a red 1969 camaro like the other 90 percent i see at all car shows. I only see one 66 dart and thats mine. Thats priceless to me.
Here are my thoughts. Back in the day, and ya I was there, there were 2 kinds of A bodies, there were "a" bodies and then there were "A" Bodies. Now there is only "A" BODIES. So, dorky?, maybe to some of the small & close minded knuckle dragers that would not know the difference between a hemi and a VW. Personally I like all the classics and I would not put any of them down, but I love the "A' Body
