Judge Mills
1971 Plymouth Duster
AWESOME build!!! I'd also like to see a mid 90's Skyline GT-R mill in a Duster... Cool build, man!
Oh heck yeah, guilty as charged. I absolutely hate Toyota, Nissan, etc. But that could be a very long discussion, and ruin this fun thread.not sure to be exact on HP. i figure 275 hp give or take. it really depends on where i limit the cyl head work and turbo upgrades. 300+ hp is not hard to get. i'd say not bad for a 2.8 liter. i could see your nausea if it were a ford or chevy. finally a purist has emerged from the bunch. lol
I seen a GLH with a top mounted intercooler and had it sticking through a 6 Pack Scoop. That would look cool if you had an extra hood.Ive been playing around with the idea of putting a more modern engine in my Duster, like a small block out of a Dakota with fuel injection, but beyond my budget or capabilities.I cant wait to see this done=D>well i have to make a fresh air intake on the pass side and also need to feed air to a top mounted intercooler mounted above the drivers inner fenderwell under the hood. the scoops will be made out of aluminum measuring 3.5" x 12" one on the pass side and one on the drivers. there will be a rectangle duct 4' x 6" going up through the fenderwells from the scoops for feed air for both intercooler and intake.
I am a litlle confused here, as far as i know or remember i have never see a Spearco Turbo before, the most common turbos i know about are; IHI, HKS (wich is made by some other company) Air Reaserch, Garrett, Turbonetics, Presision, Holeset, Switzer and Borg Warner.got ya, on the GE. i will do some reading up on that. the ct26 turbo off the 7M i have in the pics. how is that compared to the Spearco?
u should put updated dodge engine in this not a japense engine in.u are so ruining this car.this car is old its supposed to have old stuff on it.u should just keep your 360 in it and rebuild it.
who cares he doesn't have hotrod anymore.he has a rice rocket rod.ruined the value. The great thing about this country and this hobby is that each of us has the freedom to things our own way and to build the car that we want, not just what's popular. While the idea of putting a Japanese engine in a Duster may not be to your liking, if you take the time to read and follow this thread, you might find some inovative ideas and answers to problems that may arise in your own build. If, on the other hand, you don't like this build, don't read the thread.
