I must give you props. I did the same thing. I am not an expert at it but made sure that the body was ready for the painter. I guess it turned out good. So I say go ahead and do it and at the end you will love the progress of what you did. Good luck and keep us posted and send your pictures inn.

Great work Dude! Just goes to show what we all can accomplish when we put our mind to it. It's just not for the high over priced shops. Gotta love the backyard mechanics on this one, we are still alive, kickin and gives us more pleasure doing the DIY thing

Reminds me of the early stages on my 68, doing the engine bay, taking it back to bare metal. I love to see this kind of stuff. There's an immense feeling of satisfaction to be gained from doing the hard, dirty, yards yourself and seeing a car come together, learning all the way.

This is some progress of my car.I haven't been on hear updating my car.I have done alot of work 2hrs a day and 8hrs on Saturday and Sunday.I have the engine almost ready to start.I have to finish the fuel system.I am also finishing the right side wheel tubs.It is starting to look like a car again.
