So if you run a 15 x 8.5" wheel with a 5" back spacing (largest for A body Mopar (1970 Dart w/stock wheel wells and no mods), what is the largest tire that could be run hieght and width? For a rear tire and wheel combo and would run 14" on the front.

bon-speed wheels
rear 17x11 285-40-17 4 1/2 back
front 17x7 215-45-17 4 3/4 back

So, I just went through 11 pages here. Couldn't find out what I wanted to know for sure. What's the largest 15" anybody has managed to safely stuff into the stock sized rear wheelwells of an early (64-66) Barracuda with the offset springs? Has anybody ever managed to fit a 275/60 15? Or is a 255/60 15 the biggest that will fit? Does anybody make a 265/60 15?

Anybody close to me that has a worn out 275/60 15 Radial T/A they want to throw my way for mock up? Or maybe a 255/60 15?

It's still on jack stands but will be on the ground soon!!

I grew up in KC during the 60s and 70s. Went to Winnetonka.

I'm sure a bunch of us have seen this Dart floating around the interwebs. I've been searching through out the four corners of the internets and can't find the specs.

I want the same exact tire/wheel combo for the front and back as in this dart. Apart from the wheel wheel cutouts, does anyone know if the owner mini-tubed it? I love the stance on it, to my opinion it is perfect and want such look on mine! =P

Hemi Dart specs:
Front 14"x5.5" big bolt D-70/14
Rear 15"x8" (special offset) 7.75"x15"
A hanfull escaped with a 8.15"x15" blue dot in the rear.

Not sure if this is the same as the pic,but these are the numbers I came up with.

It took over 8 months of getting lied to to get my wheels. The fronts were wrong when i got them and had to order two more because they refused to take them back. It took another 4 months to get my front wheels in. The powder coat was barely covering the aluminum and will turn brown in the corners when the sun hits it, also is flaking off in spots. Terrible customer service.

Finally got my bbp conversion finished up and got my new rims & tires on.

These are Rev-wheels (liscensed by american racing), Classic 100's

Fronts are 15"x6" with 205/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A's

Rears are 15"x7" with 225/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A's

Finally got the Polyglas on...E70x14 on fronts, G60x15's with 8" rallys on the rear AND Yes they ride like hardened donky Sh*&^...all over the road (Mighigan roads, the worst in N.A.) but they sure look great. Met with the Hot Rod Power Tour yesterday north of Detroit; lots of comments.

That pic was very edumicational to me. 1st the gray Wheel Vintiques centers don't look that bad but not as good as the 5 point centers stock. Second it looks like you have to use the right chrome wheel cover to get the right rally reflections.

I need a pair of narrow 14 trim rings for the front and a set of proper 15" deep rings for the rear.
