I've got a 360 magnum with 84 k miles. I want have a fun drivable car that can hold it's own. It's going in a 74 Duster 833 4 speed with 8 3/4 3.91 sure grip. I was thinking of leaving the bottom end alone and putting a cam and trick flow heads in it. I have an Eddie intake and carb already. New lifter rockers oil pump and double timing chain. Is it feasible ??or due i need to save for something like the hot rod IMM engine build. With a ball hone, icon forged piston 10.4:1, bigger 565 lift can mother thumper, imm eq ported heads with larger valves. I know this isnt budget for all but I'm not looking at $6500 strokers neither. The cam for the stock bottom end was something like a voodoo retro for hydraulic roller specs.HR 262/270 .507/.515 lift 211/[email protected] I seen that yellow rose liked their high efficiency cans and I thought that was close. It has a 318 in it now that runs ok. Since I out the 3.91 in it it'll out a grin on your face. Changed title since its not budget build apparently if you spend any money. Heads and the associated dependability items were my budget. So with a solid bottom end with trick flow heads what cam is a good recommendation.
