I have shafts! Hoping the rest is ok. Pretty funny been looking for that number for a while, just to dam expensive on flea bay usually over 200.Saw that. Would like to see the damage. For you, it could be worth it regardless.
I have seen them. I was into it growing up the local hobby shop had a track and did races on the weekend. Good prizes also for the top three of the day. Aurora model motoring only. They made them a few miles away from there..There's guys that get super serious about that...
Thats one thing I'm concerned with. Plus checking to see if they are bent to begin with.Chris whatch using a press on them pretty easy to bend the arm if not supported right.
one of the videos recommends just thatI was just thinking. Would an electric heat gun expand the arm enough to allow the bushing to enter more easily without damaging the new bushing?
I use an air hammer to remove them. Catch them on the outside flange edge...they pop right out.. just dont cut on the arm... Then I use metal sleeves and adaptors, and sometimes my press to reinstallSo this week I'm gonna try the full on rebuild on the polara's front suspension. In previous goes, I always sprung for the rebuilt LCAs, this time though, I'm gonna rebuild them myself. Been watching the clips on how to do it, seems pretty straight forward. Anyone have any last minute tips?
Just have to support them right then no issues or use adapters like Mitch posted.Thats one thing I'm concerned with. Plus checking to see if they are bent to begin with.
Far as adaptors... I usually just hunt around shop for something to work.. sometimes pieces of pipe..Just have to support them right then no issues or use adapters like Mitch posted.

Wow, You got the good drugs,Yo TMM, I was talking to Hemi (my hound) this morning and we struck an agreement. In exchange for me removing the cone of shame she agreed to let me spray paint her orange and white so she can masquerade as a rescue St. Bernard. We will hang the biggest pizza or greasiest burger we can find around her neck and come rescue ya. We will break you out today if you need. We can be there in less than 4 hours, unless of course we ride the old Harley in which case I have to factor in stopping on side of road for repairs!
