I think we should wait to paint the entire car, temp is our enemy right now. I can get the fenders and stuff the right color and we could put them on soon. Just a thought.

Thats what I was thinking. Right now I just want to make it look like a normal Dart instead of just another smashed up Dart. We should be in a new house by the end of the year and I am looking for places with at least a real 2 car garage so I can have an empty stall to pull the Dart into.

All the other stuff I can do before we paint it.

I have the driveline out of the red dart that was between a 904 and a 8 1/4 rear end. We put a 727 in it and had a driveline made. When you figure out what the length is let me know and I'll mesure it. Might be able to save you some money if it fits.

Can you measure the distance from the center of the U-joint area to the center of the other U-joint area and let me know what it is?

i know how you feel about wrecking an old car, i totaled my dart when a lady pulled out in front of me, and well the 9in brakes dont work so well.

This brings back memories and i know exactly how mad you were, stupid people:angry7:

Yeah the 9" drums are fun in Nikkis 66 thats why I got a disk set up from Greendart72 a few weeks back. Now I just need another 8 1/4 for it. Did you ever do anything with the wagon after the BBQ, how did the arm heal?

Well JR, it's good to hear that there is some progress. I would r&r that windshield now and fix any rust and then paint the channel, feather it out onto the a pillar, before the glass goes back in. Then you can paint the rest of the car later. At least then it won't leak on the carpet.
