Ok, $245.99 and Ross delivers it to my house. :)

I have a decent '72 Valiant front end that would confuse the hell out of anyone who saw it...kind of like that Barracuda I saw on craig's list with a dart front end.

OK, so after reading all 4 pages to see if you got what you wanted there is absolutely no resolution. Then I realized this happened on the first of this month! 8-[

At least the later model Dart parts are the cheapest Mopar muscle car parts you can buy.

Curious to see how much you eventually get for this car.

The insurance guy just left and said that they will work with me to get the dart fixed, repainted (maybe the whole thing) and the bumper straightened and rechrommed! Looks like Frank Mitchell may be getting some of Allstate's money!

Badart, I still want your parts and will trade you the black interior parts. I just need to find out when my work is going to set up another run to Vegas. It may be a month or so but I will let you know.

Just saw this, totally sucks, at least the insurance guys weren't assholes.

I have a mint 75 Dart hood and the nose bit if you want them, just taking up space so if you ever feel like crossing the pond to Victoria you can have them.

    Update....

I talked to the insurance guy today and he said that so far he has come in at $2503.30 and thanks to 2 FABO members I will have more than enough parts to fix my Dart!!!! So it looks like Allstate will be cutting me a check (if I like their final estimate) and I will be taking the new front sheet metal and the car to the body shop that is about 1/4 mile from my house and have them unbolt the old, bolt on the new and repaint the whole car (stock color). Maybe order some new carpet and finally order the front seat cover as well.
They are also hooking me up with a rental car by Friday so I can bring my dad back his POS 1990 S10 that is pissing tranny fluid everywhere!

In the mean time I pulled the bumper out of the fender and pulled the fender away from the tire so I can drive the thing...

Look I'm a body man!!!:-D and yes that is one of the tranny fluid stains in my driveway from that POS truck.

Pull bumper out, whack the hell out of it with the back of an ax and your done!

    Yeah!

Sorry about your car, at least nobody got hurt. We live in an era where everyone is in a hurry, nobody is paying attention to what they're doing and nothing in the world is more important than what they're doing right now. And they certainly don't care about your valuable collector car, that's what scares me about driving them, although it doesn't stop me. Well, at least you refrained from breaking the sixth commandment!!!

Hey now we aren't all like that! Sad thing is that I gotta worry about the people my age running into the rampage when I get it on the road, along with whatever a-body I start next year. Had to pic a semi-rare car as my "beater". lol now I worry about getting hit!

Believe it or not Allstate is not one of the worst insurance companies out there. I do auto appraisals for and against all the major and minor companies out there. When it comes to getting your money out of them Geico is by far one of the worst companies out there!

We have no reason to get a lawyer or even goto the doctor at all. All I want is a free rental car, enough money to fix my car and maybe have some left over to order some new carpet and a seat cover.

With Allstate I wouldn't try to take out the whole company just because the estimator or claim handler is a jackass. Sometimes it is the luck of the draw, the Allstate estimator that came out and looked at my car was cool as hell, talked about his old 68 merc that he had and how hare to was to track down parts for it when it got hit. I have met others that I wanted to punch in the face 2 seconds after I met them.

Ross has the fenders and header ready for paint. We are just trying to nail down a good weekend when we can take the car out to my dads place and paint it. Should happen with in the next 3-4 weeks. In the mean time I cleaned up the 8 1/4 that is on the workbench and painted it with Por-15 so it is almost ready to go in as soon as I get my hands on a drive shaft that is the right length.
I'm debating pulling the windshield so I can fix that damn leak before I install the new carpet.
I am also debating just putting on the new front end parts and waiting to paint the car until we buy a new house and I can set the garage up so I can paint a car in it. That way we can take our time and do it right. We are just waiting for them to vote and extend the $8000 first time home buyers credit then it is on!
