Got a little more detailing work done in the engine bay. Carried the light-to-dark color fade through the tops of the inner fenders and radiator support.

Oh heyllll no... lol.
I tied the frames, and it went to the owner's house to fit the powertrain before I did the filler and blocking. It's a close friend of mine - a barter deal for long term storage on one of my cars. He's got a 5.0L/WCT5/ 8.8 going into it. It needed a different export brace and some reinforcement and mods on the firewall to drop that all in. Car is a Futura, so it's loaded too: 3sp wipers, console, buckets, everything you could get on a '61 Falcon...lol.
A street racing friend of mine does have a '61 that's a full chassis car. They are great platforms for that. But Fords are not my cup of tea.

This week I ordered the correct dark blue convertible top for my 67 Barracuda. With a little luck and LOTS of searching I finally found a 1967 Plymouth color/trim book and able to match the sample to a 1967 dark blue swatch.

I was going down the road to little car show to "spectate", but rained 2 inches early AM, drizzly and cold and windy!!!! YES S.E. TX! ha Low tonite 39 !!! ha again, least it ain't snowin!!!

Dragged the Imperial up to the garage... Messed with the doors and trunk to get them open, spread liberal mothballs, and started pulling the 440.
