Your thoughts on stroker block build

Did you ever consider a Ritter block. This way your done. If you want to add a power adder later on . You're not limited to hp .
 
I think the 4" cranks are way too heavy. My 3.79" weighs 63lbs! Ok it's a steel billet but still I'd sooner build with a large bore and a short stroke...


Hmmmm, I may have to weight my 3.79 crank and see what it is. I’ll have to find a scale. I don’t allow scales on my property! That’s the rule because I don’t want to know MY weight.
 
Ahhhh, ya gotta know your weight. It pays when your offsetting the cars weight!:poke:

I’m pretty sure my 4.125” crank only weighs 63 lbs.
 
My friend's SBC crank weighs in at 46#'s...big advantage in a circle track car.

I'd like to play with lightening one of my spare small block cranks... Might get 10#'s off of it.
