Was reading his Facebook page trying to catch up and came across a post that said he passed away back on April 1st. He was a cool old dude and I enjoyed his banter. May he rest in peace.

Makes me sad to hear that.
Bill was a great and humble guy and very nice to talk with.
Had a ton of experience from back in the days.
RIP Bill, You’ll always be in my mind.

I talked with Bill on the phone many times great guy and thought of others first R.I.P. MY FRIEND .

Too old for facebook. Only learned of Bill's passing when I read this thread. Very sad to learn of it. I enjoyed reading his posts and will miss him.

G-dspeed Bill,

Harry

So sorry to hear of his passing. I made Bill's acquaintance via the web decades ago on a long since gone board called "Prodigy". He had an amazing amount of knowledge, and a keen sense of humor. He will be missed.

I am glad my 85 year old Uncle doesn't think like that.

R.I.P. Bill. Enjoy the big garage in the sky.
And no Bill, I still don’t like the /6 for racing, but thanks anyway. You wave the flag and carry the torch. You will have many behind you!
And my support!

Now get to work on that /6 turbo!
I’ll see you later.:D:thumbsup:

Did not know the man but good folks are hard to find!

Rest In Peace!

Very sad. I used to read his stuff on here. I've tried to look up some long lost friends, and often, you find their obituary, when you could not find them alive.

My apologies to all here. This thread is in remembrance of Bill Dedman and I was wrong to respond to the comment above. To that end, I have removed my comment.

Best regards,

Harry

Herb and I visited him a couple of years ago, Just as nice in person as online, we all had a good time that afternoon. Sad to hear of his passing.

I talked turbos with him about my slant until I went with a supercharger. He was a ton of knowledge. He will be missed. RIP Turbo/6 Bill
