My Wife Left Me Today -sucks

The best defense is a good offense.
Pour yourself into the car and the kids.
Make the kids your focus for human contact, and work on the car of your stress relief. When the car get to paint, and you can enjoy it even more, it will bring some piece. I would make absolutely sure that it is one display any time she might be there, to show her that you are moving on, taking care of things, and moving forward.
Talking isn't cheating, but lying to have contact is deception, and untrustworthy. Without trust, the damage is done.

Hey man this a car sight call jerry springer or dr phil i want to here about a body mopars not chevy junk or women

Hey man this isn't just a car site. call a doctor to check to see if you're mentally retarded and/or anti-social. I wanna hear the results they give you.

There, I corrected your post. Seriously dude, you haven't been around long enough to even open your mouth. The FABO group is a family, now get lost

73dart, sorry to hear about the speed bump though man. Hope you get happy quick. Go work on somethin!

I wonder what would happen,if her daughter or herself found you down a deadend street talking with another woman?Well hell freezeth over!I feel for you being a newlywed, this just shouldn,t happen! It has and you have to face it head on!Pack her stuff, change the locks,do what you have to financially and say good-bye!

Is it possible to get an annulment in your state? Check it out, get it done if possible and QUICKLY. I see this has already been suggested.

Keep your chin up and do what right for you and your sons.

it's already been said multiple times on here... but it will get better. My first wife cheated on me at 5 months, but I learned from that mistake and have been happily married to my 2nd wife for 10 years now and couldn't ask for a better life, or a better wife!

It is strange however that men are always thought of as the cheating bad guy, when this thread and all of our stories clearly show that women can be just as deceitful. I guess in the end they are always worth the risk, because when you do get that right one, nothing can make you happier.

Stay strong, focus on your kids and find happiness on your own terms!

Wow, I hope you don't need a part or some advise from 73Dart360 or anyone else here for that matter. With that kind of attitude you will receive as much sympathy for your situation as you have given 73Dart360. Think about joining some other site if that's going to be your attitude, we're all family here!!! Geof

actully you left her you told her to get out GOOD FOR YOU hang in there

Guys, I been there also, but you are on the wrong site for this kind of advice. Go to Askmen.com and look up Doc Love and David De Angelo. It helped me figure it out.

There is something to be said for losing yourself in a good car project! My 67 Dart Convertible (now deceased) was the best therapy I could have ever asked for in the aftermath of a painful break up when I was younger.

David de angelo is the man!!!!! doubleyourdating.com great advice but wer'e here too!!! A guy asked david de angelo in one of the newsletters I recieve how to get his ex back and david layed into him real bad and told him to move on in life and don't look back...he is the man, althought this thread is about one thing I hope our lady members don't take offence, men are capable of the same stupid stuff..and a lot of the advice will work both way's so ladies please keep an open mind if reading this.....the law's of attraction are sometimes unjust and anyone having these problems will need to adjust their game to avoid this from happening again

I have been there years sgo and understand the pain. I dated her 7 years married her and she left for a guy she worked with after 1 1/2 years. What really sucked was coming home after work from my 2nd job[yes I was working 2 jobs] and finding the home gutted and the bank books on the counter with BALANCE $1 written in them. That was back in November 1994 and I have not yet re-married.

As bad as it may feel now….. It is for the best.

It's like the old girlfriend I had…. We were even engaged…. I was soooo in love…. So in love I didn't even realize how shtitty my life was.

She got drunk every day and I loved her….

She lied all the time and I loved her….

She cheated and I loved her….

She left me for another man and I still loved her…..

I looked for another woman to fill her place…. even though I still loved her….

Then one day I pulled my head out of my ***…. This moment of enlightenment came one day when I was watching TV… I was sitting in my underwear scratching my balls, drinking a beer and enjoying the sound and smell of my own farts. No joke.

My life was great…. I mean really, really great…. It was at that point that I truly realized how crappy and chaotic my life had been with her and what a disaster the relationship was…

I ran into her about a year later…. Her new husband was in Iraq. She asked me out for a drink and started the same old sweet talk…. I just walked away.

Totally makes sense, but I laughed my butt off all afternoon over this comment. It made my day.
Hang in there buddy. I've been there done that with an ex fiance'. Life will get better as it has for me. I have a lovely wife of 2.5 yrs and we are in the process of adopting twin boys.

Facebook is just a tool. A #2 phillips screwdriver can tighten a wobbly table leg or pierce a kidney with equal ease. There is no difference between them. It comes down to the intent and actions of the user.

The new situation will suck for awhile... that's a given. Once the bond of trust has been broken in this way, she's gone. Period. Been there, done that, got half a t-shirt. The trick is to find an outlet for the inevitable bad energies you'll be experiencing.

While I don't wish anything bad upon my delightful ex-wife (not today, anyway) I wouldn't be a bit upset to learn of her having a stroke or falling off of something tall. She's just not worth the energy. She's doing her thing, I'm doing mine and never the twain shall meet.

I truely agree with this statement, but if the tool wasn't there, it wouldn't have been as easy to use. I'm not blaming the "tool", it is the users fault. We are all responsable for our actions. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink kinda of thing.

Anyway, I have never been through what you are going through, and am not going to say I know how you feel, but I wish you only the best and will pray for you too get through this with as little pain and greif as possable.

Okay I'm not here to beat up on Mr. jackparlier1, even though I'd like to, you guys have done a fine enough job and I'm pretty sure he gets the picture, that yes this is "not" a car only site.
Why I am here is to make all you people that have been married more than once understand that "YOU'RE SCARING THE CRAP OUT OF ME".
I've been married to the same women for 27 yrs. and can't imagine us splitting up. Hell we survived for years when at times our life was nasty and stuck together.

But if it were to happen I'm left with this little snipit I once heard, "If you love something set it free and if it comes back it was meant to be, if it doesn't come back hunt it down and kill it"
Allright it's just a joke and I think it refers to someone's dog most certainly not their wife or loved one.:toothy10::toothy10::toothy10::toothy10:

I really enjoyed telling my ex this.

If you have everything sticking out of you that you have had stuck in you you would look like a f...ing porcupine.

OH! Did that piss her off but I enjoyed it a lot.

P fogel thats some good advice it seems harder at night when trying to go to sleep ive been up since 3 am i just wake up panicked and cant sleep im like a zomby during the day because im so tired ,i tried to find free counseling ,this here on FABO is what i needed all of these real life experiences and i appreciate it i am 47 yrs old she is 38 so i am feeling like im getting up there and i dont look like i did 4 yrs ago so my confidence and self esteem are at 0
i thank everyone for being so kind in this tough time.

It will take some time to heal, and ponder why,but dont let yourself get depressed, stay busy and focus on positive things, you have to take one day at a time...you will make it...there is a hell of alot of cool and caring people here you can talk too...and of course you have a butthead or two but ignore them for they have no heart or soul or any class for that matter.... remember its not the end of the world, though it may seem so now,in order to have new doors opened to you, you must close the ones behind you and move forward and dont look back, and dont beat yourself up thinking maybe if you had done something different this may have not happened.....we are all free agents and have the power of choice, you didnt choose her path...she did...on her own free will, not you...good will always triumph over evil in the end...stay focused and positive, and the pain and torment will fade quicker than you think....and pray to GOD for strength and wisdom to get you thru, it works, I'm no saint and very seldom go to a church, but I absolutely believe in The Power Of GOD.....He sees and hears all and all you have to do is ask....

Man do I feel for yah. I found a diary that my ex-wife kept that had documentation of her affair. Reading what I expected was true and more was a hard kick in the heart. But that was all the proof I needed. Great tool for the divorce attorney.
Get your confidence back up and walk proud with your shoulders up and chest out. If you carry yourself in a postive manner someone will notice and it only takes one flirtatous moment to build your self esteam back up. There are a lot of woman your age that have probably been through the same thing. Dont give up the hunt just be carefull if you find one to settle down with and take it slow.
Keep us updated brother.

Sorry to hear your pain. I had the same situation almost. My wife of 23 years left me for a crack pipe and her second cousin down in Arkansas. Its been 5 years , but it still hurts,,mainly i feel for the kids she has no relationship with anymore. Best wishes to you..

See this always makes me wonder. I keep hearing about women clearing the guy out. So why can't we sue for our stuff back? I mean leaving you with nothing but a dollar is ridiculous. Theft as far as I'm concerned
