Mine rubbed and squeaked...had to pull it apart and remove it.

If you go to green bearings you will need to remove the spacer inside the rear end. The spacer was used so the old type axle could be adjusted.

I've known Tony Jones for many years. He and my brother raced a Mustang many years ago. His shop is about 15 miles from me. I would buy from him if I was in the market for what he makes.

My horn was going the same thing. My problem was that the roller was dry and was sticking. I lubed it with grease and also lubed the contact area on the bottom side of the steering wheel.

You need a steering wheel puller to get it off.
