I have been having chest pains for the last 2 months. Yes I have been to my doctor and had all kinds of tests done. Heart and arteries are good, lungs are good. My doctor knows I am in pain as I don't go to the doctor for for every little ache. It has to be something out of the ordinary for me to bother him, as he is a friend and I know how hard he works. It even took me 3 days to go see him after I seperated my shoulder. I'm a stubborn old coot. Anyway, it has us all baffled. He thinks it may be stress related. It is the strangest thing, it is constant, but it will move around. One day it might be in my lower left side, the next it might be up by my right shoulder or anywhere in between.

Anybody ever had something like this?

Jack

I would think you spine is out of wack!

Try a Holistic Chiropractor.....one that doesn't crack your bones!!

My fingers would go numb and I had pains like you. Went to my wife's holistic chiro for about 5 visits only and it all started to go away after the first visit! No problems at all now.
Just my own experience.

Have they done an angioplast?? The dye test to make sure veins and arteries are all clear?? My dad I think was having similar symptoms and he had triple bypass to put stints in. 8 months later had to have them redone. Thats about all I can think that it might be.

To start with you have been added to my prayer list.

Moving around, Yes. All the way to the right shoulder, No.

I went through years of similar issues. I went through all the routines such as heart monitors, stress tests, EKGs, many times of blood work, over nights in the hospital and anything else they could come up with.

In the end it ended up being my Gall Bladder. After it cause Pancreatis twice they removed it and no more problems in 6 years. I have always wondered if they had done the blood work and scans on the Gall Bladder if it would have showed up and saved me years of misery and 1000s of dollars.

Arteries are in real good shape. No blockage at all.

I have blood work done on a regular basis. 3 times a year and they check everything. This is done because of a genetic blood disorder I have. Everything came back good, right where it is supposed to be.

You're pragnant !
No but laughter is the best medicine. :)
Lets hope its just gas.
The same pains can come from the gal bladder.
Best wishes.

That is one thing we haven't checked. Backs not sore, why check it mentality.
I think I will run it by my doctor.

Thanks

Jack

I had something similar a few years back when I was hospitalized for pneumonia, dehydration and a kidney infection (that was a bad week). It turned out that the chest pain was from my spinal alignment being in a bad state. The doctor placed his fist under my back, leaned across my chest and applied pressure until a bunch of stuff went *crunch*. The screwdriver-between-a-few-ribs sensation vanished immediately.

Something to consider in light of the normal stuff not turning anything up. Keep us posted on this. It can be a more than a little stressful.

Pregnant??
OK now we have a first.
Oprah will be calling real soon.
You will be a billionaire.
We will have a famous member all over the television networks.
Give FABO a plug every now and then.

I had a similar issue for a long time it turned out that my chest wall was inflamed. Steroid therapy cleared it up.

I wake up every morning with a new pain it seems...age has a way of doing that...spinal alignment affects my ribs and causes chest pain for me and my wife once in a while and a visit to the chriopractor takes care of it. I also tore ligaments in my chest when I was in the Air force in '77 that cause me grief every now and again. hope things work out...

A chriopractor can work wonders Jack, I see one on a yearly basis and see her for 2 visits a week for two months every spring.
I broke my sternum back in the mid 80's and if I grab something wrong or push pull it still get aggravated and sends pains to my right side and some times left side.
Did you over do something this winter and forgot about it ?
It's hard for some ex=ray machines to see this if the doctor don't look closely
I see some good advice here and diagnoses.
Chill out and enjoy a few days off and see if it returns buy not worrying or dealing with things that can stress you out and see if there is a difference.
Have you been on the tread mill yet for a test yet ? You are a big fellow and no spring rooster :happy10:, I hope you get this figured out bud, Prayers for a good out come

I have had chest pains in the past. Exams,x-rays, stress tests, blood work, and overnight stays in the hospital wired up like a Christmas tree. Everything was ok. I went to my chiropractor and the chest pain was gone B/4 I left the office.
Worth a try! Toolmanmike

Hope all gets better. Seems as though lots of people are suggesting a chiroprator. You might give it a try and see.

How old is old? Going to the doctor tomorrow for what sounds to be the same!! I think with me its a lump of accumulated bondo ,paint, undercoat, and burnt rubber. I'll keep ya posted

I've had problems with my back for years.
Back out of alignment can cause all kind of weird problems.
A vertebra pressing on a nerve can cause pain any were with out your back even hurting.
Chiropractor or physical therapist might help.
Just a suggestion.

Hope your better soon.

I can't offer anything but prayers that it is nothing serious. Hopefully someone will be able to identify the cause of this, I don't like to hear that one of our members is having health issues. Mopar issues, OK, but certainly not chest pains!!! Here's to finding that it's just something minor!!! Geof

Sounds like a pinched nerve Jack, I get them in my right shoulder and can't lift my arm and hurts on the right side when I breath. Went to a real massage guy and problem solved. If you go to one of these people or a chiropractor "DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR NECK". There's getting to be quite a few people with spinal cord damage after having their necks cracked.
Now Jack if this doesn't help then the only thing you can do is sell me your Demon and the problem will miraculously disappear.:toothy10:

yup; for about a year now, on and off.

Its the I want another mopar pain. lol Have you been pulling any wrenches? more strenuous than many think

Dang Jack, sorry to hear about this! Never had anything like that myself, but Billy does. His is just gas. Frequently of the "leave-the-room-immediately" variety.

Best of luck in tracking down the mystery my friend! Hope you feel better soon.
