Never say never. My sons stock stroke 360 with 4.10 gears and a non low gear 727 does this.

But as it is, it Hasn’t run down the quarter mile, disqualified! No I definitely found running, I have no doubt you will do what it means to do, once it runs!

hope to wrap it up this coming week or so and get testing. has taken waaaayyy to loong to finish at this point. frustration has settled in and gettin grumpy now.

I know the feeling. My garbage has been up on jack stands for over a year for a project that should have taken a couple months

I forget stuff, in seconds sometimes... does that count?

Will you be running X275?
im not legal for x275. outlaw X yea but not competitive to those monster chassis cars. im juat gonna do some small tire street car stuff like sct or like that for now. try to enjoy the 70k i spent before wading it up against a wall.lol

I’m sure I’ll run into you next year. Do you plan on going to outlaw street car reunion in bowling green?

all depends on how well the car performs. as to where i go or how far i go with it. getting it completed has become a stressful battle at this point.

Pretty sure I didn't post this one here but it was a fun relatively cheap build. Like I said I hope I didn't post this one but it was easier than messaging the build.

This .030 over block went through 3 rebuilds and the bores were so bad I wore out a new set of stones trying to clean them up. I started out with W2 heads and pump gas going 9.80's before both heads cracked right by the W2 on the exhaust side of the head where they were prone to cracking on the Econo heads. Then it went 10.30, 10.20's and finally into the 10 teens. On the third rebuild it was updated to my best set of Edelbrock heads with 2.08 valves (now on my sons 360) a JUNK Super Victor that came around with many hours of work, a used 660 lift roller cam, comp lifters, 850 alcohol carb that was switched over by APD, K1 4 inch crank, K1 rods, milidon oil pan, 1 7/8 Hedmen headers. No tricks, nothing fancy and even the heads were the unwanted open chamber style Edelbrock heads I bought damaged and repaired.

Love SS springs. They work awesome. Sweet ride, love it

Thanks for sharing all of that, fast cars and alot of history, how awesome to have your son sharing the same passion!

If you look at the picture with my old blue 1974 Duster above and the quad that little boy in the front of the quad is now 29 and now drives the primered black Duster above. He's 10 times the driver that I will ever be and made his first pass in that car when my ex-wife was pregnant with him as she used to race too. I gave him that car because of that.

Here is my 71 dart, 3480 with driver, mopar mega block 505ci,Indy SR heads, Eldebrock Super victor intake, 13.1 compression, 728/ 706 comp cam with 1.6 rockers, 727 with 5500stall,dana 60 with 4.10 gears. Its been a 9.38 at 142.7mph with a 1.28 sixty foot.
