That truly sucks. So are you officially out of the woods or is there still a chance it comes back towards you?LOTS of horses died or got severely burned....

Hell no. Them days over
Fire is only 5 percent contained, but has moved on. So far.....That truly sucks. So are you officially out of the woods or is there still a chance it comes back towards you?
Skimming through Carl Munroe's book.I know it's either the 61-62 or the 65/66 years. I do know that a 65 pushbutton trans will not work in a 63/64
46 horses dead....At least...Some missing...20 percent contained....
Good to know. I need to find that book.Skimming through Carl Munroe's book.
Shift cable '62-'66
Rear pump '62-'65
Internal Park added and changed Years not given
Slip yoke '66
That's the major changes I see. It wouldn't surprise me if there was some difference in the early ones not mentioned or I didn't see there.
That sucks. Likely to never find some either46 horses dead....At least...Some missing...
Nice car there Chris
That sucks. I think I was outside too long today, my lungs are on fireStill snowing...5" on the ground so far.
Thanks.
It's gonna take a lot of work to get those worthy. Trans needs rebuilt and seeing how there's nobody in this area that understands a simple 727 let alone a pushbutton, means I'll be doing it myself. Should be an interesting learning experience. First step though is giving it a good bath, I may rent a uhaul one day when it's warmer and take it to a heated coin car wash. Get all the mud and **** out from under it. Clean out the entire, which is full of garbage and mostly carpet.
You know, they are quite easy to do,good snap ring pliers a bench to hold it vertical and some threaded rod and a crowfoot puller with a few nuts and bolts to make a compressor. Im not doing mine until spring or into summer (904) but pretty much the same.Thanks.

I do have the figure out what locked the right rear . Had all four wheels turning but when to load it on trailer and it locked up tight. Guessing brake
Chris, I did mine for similar reasons. Besides the Munroe book and the shop manuals, I got some stuff (and advice) from A&A. However Cope seems to be very good too. A&A mostly race oriented. Cope does both race and stock AFIAK. If either of them was closer, I would have brought it to them. It wasnt like I was bucking for the challenge - although its always interesting to learn so I have no regrets.Chris, I would recommend taking it to this guy... He's a mopar guy and helped us get the oldest son's trans fixed...
U-haul the car up there or bring him the trans and let him go through it... He's in north west Indiana...

yeah I need to get a good set of snap ring pliers. I have the trans rebuild book and DVD from when I was gonna rebuild the one from my 74 charger. I'll probably pick up a cheap junk 904/727 to practice on first. You know, they are quite easy to do,good snap ring pliers a bench to hold it vertical and some threaded rod and a crowfoot puller with a few nuts and bolts to make a compressor. Brake or break???
As long as they don't have deep ruts, that can actually be better for traction.
Depends on how much they want to rebuild it next spring. I think you're right on the pumps btw. I think I was getting the pump confused with the parking brake on some of the pre 62 727sChris, I did mine for similar reasons.
