Mirrors on a 68 Cuda? What do you like?

I'm sure this has been done but I haven't seen it. I'm talking about installing the newer style sport mirrors on a 68 Cuda. Are they a bolt on or does it take some modifications? How do they look on an older Cuda? My 68 only had the standard style manual mirror on the dr side and I had a remote...

What's everyone doing for 67-9 Cuda trunk extensions

Getting ready to do the last bit of rust repair on my 68 Cuda and can't find anyone that sells trunk extensions for it. Found them for 67-9 Darts. Can Dart extensions be made to work? If so is it a lot of work to make them work or fairly simple? Thanks

Anybody know what used police wheels sell for?

A buddy of mine was garage cleaning and ran across a set of 15x7 police wheels (1983 vintage) and asked me to sell them for him but I don't know what to ask for them cause I haven't seen any listed for sale for quite a while. Other than being dirty and needing painted 3 are in real nice shape...

    Gauge pods anybody

I'd like to add 2 or 3 more gauges in my 68 Cuda but there is hardly any room under the dash and besides you can't see them while driving so I was thinking why not put them on the A pillar? So I looked all over Summit and Jegs and see they have pillar pods for all sorts of trucks and rice crap...

    anybody have a

I need a schematic/wiring diagram for a 1990 Dodge Ram with the Cummins. A buddy of mine is installing one in a 1990 1/2 ton Ram to make a Diesel fun/drag truck out of and the wiring harness was burned up on the truck he took it out of so we can't tell much of what needs to be where. Neither of...

Where to buy a set of lower ball joint dust seals??? I took mine apart to install Dynamic strut rods and of course the dang seals tore. Got the upper ball joints apart without tearing them but both lowers tore. I tried Summit and all they have are the Energy suspension ones and they don't fit...

    Harmonic balancer for a stroker

I need a new harmonic balancer for the 408 I'm building and have looked around and found several with the prices varying widely. Just wondering what guys here are running? It's mostly a street car with a few trips to the track per year so I don't need a $1000 balancer but it would be nice if...

What's everybody running for a windage tray on a SB stroker? Does the stock type fit ok? I looked at going with a Milodon but on Summit's site it says it's not clearanced for a stroker. Here's a link to the Milodon. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MIL%2D32230&FROM=MG In...

What's everybody using for sound deadner/heat insulator. I've been looking at installing some in my Cuda to quite it down and maybe help with radiant heat from the headers and duals. There's several different brands out there and I don't know much about what is what on the stuff so I figured...

    8-3/4 question

Did Ma Mopar use the 8-3/4 in a 73 340 Duster. I've read in a couple places that the 8-3/4 was only used until 72 then in 73 they went to the 8-1/4 even in 340 cars. But it's been quite awhile since I read that and can't find it. I did find this link on Moparts that vaguely the 8-3/4 was used up...

Fuel mileage. Stroker vs. stock stroke

I've been contemplating building a stroker for my Cuda ever since I first rode in a stroked Dart of a buddy's. The power was awesome considering it wasn't all that radical. No more radical than my 360 is now. I just wonder how the fuel mileage would compare against a standard stroke 360. If I do...

Finally after 3-1/2 yrs. of work I got the Cuda done and on the road thursday. Cleaned it up and me and the wife went to our first cruise-in at the local drive in sat eve. Man it was cool to actually come rumbling in instead of just one of the onlookers. We no more got parked and got the hood up...
