Doesn't it bother you that Obama may not even be elgible to be President? His birth certificate has been determined to be a forgery by 3 different experts. It bothers me.

Everyone voting for Obama...watch this-
http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/video.aspx?RsrcID=2036

What i can not stand and understand that people in this great country. Who are going to vote for him. have no problem with a man that has no respect for this great nation. He is anti-american but yet wants to run the country and people seem to have noproblem with this?? I know i do. Mopar658)

Hmmm .... noticed since my post (#1) no Obama supporter has chimed in and my question's still not answered. Why will you be voting for him and based on what accomplishments ? Could you please answer this question without bashing the current administration (which we already know has their issues) or the Republican party (or using the word "change", which makes me wanna upchuck I'm hearing it so much ) ? I am not being sarcastic - I really want to know what makes a Barak Obama supporter tick based on the above. Educate me on the qualifications and qualities of this man .... convince me he should be my next President of these United States and director of my countries future direction (including Supreme Court appointments), as well as represent me on the world's stage. Thanks.
Only one I know about is he got out of the south side of Chicago.

Nice debating skills. To answer your question, I have read it. It is the single most Un-America piece of legislation since Manzanar.
Man your knowledge of legislative history and Constitutional law is weak.

There is not enough oil under American soil or control to approach anything like independence. Even if we let them drill the Grand Canyon like James Watt wanted to, we wouldn't even have 1/3rd of the oil we use.
I don't know where you get your information but that is not even clsoe to true based on U.S.G.S. and Oil company data. No one thinks that drilling is going to cure all of our problems but it is without question the fastest and easiest route to lower prices, not only for gas, but for everything that has skyrocketed because of the price of fuel. I guess that like Obama, you think that if it isn't a perfect solution we should just keep doing nothing but talking about solutions that are 10 or more years in the future.

Is Clinton running for office? Is he currently in office? What is the relevance of this statement. Do you have ANY evidence or documentation to support these claims?
What is the relevence? Are you kidding? 9/11 happens only months after Bush takes office and you think it is his fault and had nothing to do with the decimated intelligence community he inherited from Clinton? Amazing. You need proof? Are you young enough that you were not paying attenion during the 90's? Just look at the Congressional Record for the debates about Clinton's plan to cut $7.5 billion from the intelligence budget, especially the comments of Porter Goss who said among other things, that President Clinton rarely, if ever, met with intelligence officials and was not "particularly engaged" on the subject. Look to George Tenet's testimony where he described the budget situation when he became CIA director during Clinton’s presidency, as a disaster. Look to the comments of Democrat and Director of Central Intelligence under Clinton R. James Woolsey who said that Clinton's intelligence cuts would be "a disaster". Guess what? THEY WERE.

Evidence? Just because Rush says it happened doesn't make it so.
But if moveon.org and the MSM say so it does?

The democrats are like that? Are you kidding? The term circular firing squad was originally used to describe the Democrats.
HAHAHA. You must be kidding. You obviously don't remember what the Democrats did to Lieberman. Oh, sure you do. You called him "turncoat". Cite one example of the Repulicans doing something like that to even one of their ranks who didn't agree with them. Hell, one of the worst offenders is now their nominee!

Why will you be voting for him and based on what accomplishments?

This is a good start:

A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review, Obama worked as a community organizer and practiced as a civil rights attorney before serving in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. He taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004

Following high school, Obama moved to Los Angeles, where he studied at Occidental College for two years. He then transferred to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations.

After four years in New York City, Obama moved to Chicago to work as a community organizer for three years from June 1985 to May 1988 as director of the Developing Communities Project (DCP), a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Greater Roseland (Roseland, West Pullman, and Riverdale) on Chicago's far South Side. During his three years as the DCP's director, its staff grew from 1 to 13 and its annual budget grew from $70,000 to $400,000, with accomplishments including helping set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization in Altgeld Gardens.

Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988 and at the end of his first year was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review based on his grades and a writing competition. In his second year he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the law review's staff of 80 editors. Obama's election in February 1990 as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles. He graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991 and returned to Chicago where he had worked as a summer associate at the law firms of Sidley & Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990.

Obama directed Illinois Project Vote from April to October 1992, a voter registration drive with a staff of 10 and 700 volunteers that achieved its goal of registering 150,000 of 400,000 unregistered African Americans in the state, leading Crain's Chicago Business to name Obama to its 1993 list of "40 under Forty" powers to be.

Obama taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for twelve years, as a Lecturer for four years (1992–1996), and as a Senior Lecturer for eight years (1996–2004).

In 1993 Obama joined Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland, a 12-attorney law firm specializing in civil rights litigation and neighborhood economic development, where he was an associate for three years from 1993 to 1996, then of counsel from 1996 to 2004, with his law license becoming inactive in 2002.

Obama was a founding member of the board of directors of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife, Michelle, became the founding executive director of Public Allies Chicago in early 1993. He served on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago, which in 1985 had been the first foundation to fund Obama's DCP, from 1993–2002, and served on the board of directors of The Joyce Foundation from 1994–2002. Obama served on the board of directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge from 1995–2002, as founding president and chairman of the board of directors from 1995–1999. He also served on the board of directors of the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Center for Neighborhood Technology, and the Lugenia Burns Hope Center.

Quite a distinguished history of working for and with the people. With credentials like his he could have written his own ticket to a very lucrative career. Choosing public service over a big payout is very commendable.

In addition that this has nothing to do with what I said, Obama said that the United States would stand "shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel."
Nothing to do with it? You said you read his book. I asked if you liked a statement in it. Seems pretty relevent to me. Wow. Captain obvious made a statement about the U.S. position but said nothing about supporting it and has said much in opposition to it, not to mention his ties to one of the world's premiere anti-semites, Louis Farrakhan.

Nope, that's a lie. Lets see what the university has to say about it....
http://www.law.uchicago.edu/media/index.html
Lets see. You think it is a lie that he was a senior lecturer on leave and submit this as proof. Wow. They say he was a senior lecturer, and describe that position as one for those who spend so much of their time off on leave doing other things that they can not be regular faculty. That is different.

Obama was not the "Party boy" when he was originally elected, and his move to the Senate was because the Machine wanted to be rid of him and didn't think he would be elected. I live in Illinois. Chicago sucks, but they don't have their hands on him.
Do you work for Obama? That is hilarious. He learned politics from the very people you claim wanted to get rid of him. Hell, they groomed him for the move and for bigger things in today's democrat party. You don't think anyone remembers the huge media hooplah over his election to the Senate, which was nothing special at all? This has been the plan all along.

All right. You must work for Obama. You actually believe that a little checkbox on the webpage that was put there after they got caught accepting contributions from a terrorist organization actually means anything? They put that there as a pathetic attempt to fool people into thinking they were really scrutinizing contributors and to give themselves the ability to say "duh, we didn't know, they said they were OK" the next time they get caught. After all, accepting illegal campaign contributions from America's enemies has been a democrat tradition since the 1990s. Both campaigns have exactly the same requirements for identifying and reporting contributions and sources of contributions and you can bet they both only do, at most, what is necessary.

So what do they have? Opinions or facts? I can safely say that in fact, talk radio is not required to defend their positions with facts. I'd really like to hear why you think that.
Are you kidding? When you are in an interactive medium like talk radio you have to be able to defend your comments or callers will hammer you and you will be embarrassed off the air like every liberal talk show host from Cuomo to Franken.

I said "public airwaves". That includes talk radio and television. the "Mainstream Media" is not required to be unbiased. That's what the fairness doctrine was supposed to do
Man you are amazing. The entire basis of journalism is supposed to be presenting the news in a totally un-biased, factual way. Today's media has completely abandoned those values in favor of being the democrat's propaganda ministry and they don't even try to hide it anymore. Just look at their viscious attacks on Palin's family, going so far as to say she was an idiot for not murdering her baby when they found out he would have down's syndrome, starting immediately after her appearance but their complete lack of coverage of Biden's brother and son being indicted for a multi million dollar investment scam. My GOD, the examples are endless. That is just the most recent one. What the laughably titled "fairness doctrine" was supposed to do was silence one side of the debate and restore the leftist media monopoly on shaping public opinion.

Between Clear Channel, Rush and Fox news, I'd say the other side of the story is pretty mainstream, wouldn't you?
You expose yourself as a moveon robot. Clear Channel has SCORES of holdings across the spectrum. Rush has his huge following, not only because he tells the other side of the story, but because he is a very effective entertainer. Fox News? Wow. Finally there is one channel on cable, and still none on regular TV, that is willing to tell both sides so now things are even? hilarious.

I loved Guiliani's FACTUAL statement about Obama's State government record. "Almost 130 times, he couldn't make a decision. He couldn't decide whether to vote yes or no! It was just too hard! He voted PRESENT!...With the Presidency, IT ISN'T ENOUGH JUST TO BE PRESENT!" How freaking true is that. How can anyone want this guy running our country?

Hey LXguy, and his brethren;

You are very perceptive as to the political leanings here. This place is overgrown with bitter, gun toting religionists. It's full of people that hold in contempt those that think our hobby and passions are wasteful at best.

I would rather be governed by the first 100 names of any phone book then by Obama and 99 of his fellow Harvard travelers.

You say he has changed your mind on a couple of things. Get used to it, because he can't seem to make up his own.

He beat the Clinton's. So what.

Obama, and the left wing of the Democratic Party--the wing that has anointed and sustained him thus far--don't much care for people like us. They are socialists, no matter their color, gender, sexual orientation, country of origin, transthisorthatness......whatever.

We here, by and large, are not.

Discover the difference. Give Liberty a Chance.

Sure, a biography written by his own people is sure to be factual and unbiased. What about 20 years as an intimate friend of his "mentor" the despicable racist Reverend Wright and his own racist comments? What about his close associtaion to terrorist Willaim Ayres? What about his involvement with Acorn? What about his very questionable involvement with convicted influence-peddler Tony Rezko who did Obama a huge favor in helping him secure a loan that no one else could have gotten (as a loan officer at the time I can guarantee that) to help him get his multi million dollar home? And what did Rezko get in return? If he was a republican you can bet the MSM would have already found out. Sure, he passed on a lucrative career. I'll bet he has all kinds of trouble paying the bills.

barack osama went to a private school in indonesia where they codemned america...yeah lets put him as president...and his vice president running mate cant keep his mouth shut. osama doesnt have a chance...

You guys are wasting your time arguing with someone who is ignorant of facts and chooses to stay that way.

Go ahead and vote for Obama. If you have a car, please turn it in at the closest scrap yard, er, "recycling facility".

What party is stopping us from drilling for oil? DEMOCRATS

What party claims to stand up for "poor" people and then raises taxes through the roof? DEMOCRATS

What party wants more and more government? DEMOCRATS

And, by the way, Obamas record was NOT impressive. So what. He was a lawyer? Big deal.

I'm not very much in the political side of America but, I find it so hard to believe that we have a candidate that won't place his hand on a Bible to swear, won't wear an American flag on his lapel, has been watched by millions not putting his hand across his heart during our Nation Anthem. What kind of person are we asking to run this country? A person that has none of the values that we USED to hold close to our own hearts? Diversity was supposedto be a great thing we have in this country. I think it has actually caused this great nation to have no sense of direction and purpose. We need to really think long and hard about what we want our country to stand for. I know it used to be Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It seems it's not so simple anymore. We have so many high placed people trying to push their own beliefs and agenda's that it has just ruined this country. Why do people think they deserve any kind of recognition by the Government because they are different? I just don't understand it anymore. Everyone starts pointing fingers at election time about what party is responsible for the state the nation is in. I'm fed up just as much as the next guy. I just find it so funny that both parties have been there the whole time and they have ALL let everything happen. I really don't believe there are very many politicions in Washington that even care about the the people and quality of life we lead. They are there to see just how damn rich they can make themselves and their select few friends. We have Troops loosing their lives every day for our Freedom and it seems like no one gives a real ****. Sorry if I offended any one and for ranting so much but, It is just so depressing to see where we came from and where we are now as a country.

Wow. With all of the new information about him I had forgotten about all of those basic transgressions. He also removed the American flag from his plane and replaced it with his self-designed Presidential seal. What do you expect when the man he calls his "mentor" goes around screaming "Not God bless America, God damn America!

In England our papers and tv are full of Palin stories .She is on the frount of every newspaper and her face is everywhere.Three days ago no one in England even knew her name . Our newspapers have been full of Obama like he was some kind of second coming .Personaly from a totally neutral standpoint i think Obama to manufactured by the people who pull the strings behind him.He has all the boxes ticked when you LOOK at him but underneath he is out of his depth.Your giving the most powerful job on earth to someone surely you pick the man who,s been around the block a few times????. Palin reminds me of a young Maggie Thatcher who in my opinion was the best leader of this country since Churchill, since Maggie we have been lead by a proccesion of grey men, who are scared of there own shadow .

Obama...public service? My ***. That "foundation" for which he worked was sucking off the taxpayer tit through government grants (political patronage). Even the radical left ACORN steals money from us taxpayers. (Yes, I said "steal" because I did not donate voluntarily and the government takes it at the point of a gun).

I seemed to be out numbered here but I cannot vote republican this time around. A lot of what I hear is palin is hot, really thats enough for you. SUre shes a milf gonna be a gilf but that in itself does not do it for me. How many of us have met some chick, hooked up and after a few weeks (if lucky) realized "man this chick is crazy" I know I have fallen for hot ones before and the reality is they were all CRAZY.

I think what the president should be is a community organizer. Someone that surrounds himself with good people and helps them help us. Someone to oversee everything. I am voting for obama this time around. I am not buying into the bs about him being anti-American. He is not the anti-Christ either.

One more thing I am not always proud of my country, we have had a bad past and looking like a bad future. If you hear something about a person before you make a decision research it. I know it's more work and read'n but make an informed choice.

by the way he is not taking our guns away, no one is taking them away.

thanks for reading
