I think I screwed up. I bought a disc caliper from rock auto (seems these are handed). When I took off the old caliper I noticed that the bleeder valve and brake line tying it together where wrong. So these are handed.. Is the reason these are handed is to get the air out with the bleeder...

thanks for the advice! If they work good I hate to spend all the cash on different front brakes.. Plus, new front wheels . I pulled the caliper tonight. I am going to try to pull the pistons and see if they are scored... any tips? Was thinking two pry bars?

I have a old barracuda with factory disc's. One of the caliper is stuck. It has been a few years since I drove the car. I was thinking wether I should up grade the brakes or stick with the factory set up? Thoughts for those who drive factory disc brake cars?

I have a 742 8 ¾”. It is leaking out of the front of the center section where it bolts to the drive shaft. I would assume that it is the Pinion seal. How is this replaced? Are there any special tools required? Thanks, for the help in advance.

Question, is this flexplate on the right way? I had an oil leak so I pulled the motor to take a look and the flex plate is tearing up the oil pan gasket. Maybe the pan was putonto tight?? Any advise? Thanks!

I too would put my money on the tires... Also, think about swapping the torker 340 and putting a holley on that. The old torker 340 leaves a alot to be desired. The torker 340 II was a get high rise single plane. The 3.91's are a great gear if you can hook it.... Good luck!

I have a question regarding the 8 ¾” rear end. There is a foam gasket the goes in between the axle housing and the brake dust shield. Should I replace this or just used some RTV? The gasket is so cheesy that I cannot imagine that it would stop a leak but, I just want to see what others do...

You can get the 15 x 8" - 5 X 4 pattern thru summit. They where like 150 ish each and they had them in stock.

Hard to say on a 9" wide wheel. I would guess that for a 8" wheel 5" backspace would be the Max. After that you have to move springs inboard.

Not yet. I can put it on the ground tonight and take some photos. I was looking for input on the cuda with 275/60/15's on this forum and could not find many so I thought I would share these.

No, the springs are in the stock location. I do have SS spring though.

Here are some photos of my 69 Barracuda with 275/60/15 on Cragar S/S these are the 5 X 4”. The wheel are 15’s, 8” wide and 4.25” backspacing.

Looks like a nice set up! I'm curious do you need to run tubes in these or are they tube-less? Be sure to let us know what you find out onthe balance.
